From experience, MOST don't. I'm not lumping every man into one category, but most don't. If you made the posting here on the forum where us women know you... and teleporters were available, I'm sure nearly every one of us women will be teleporting over *grins*

I've officially given up on the Silmarillion after not even getting through the first chapter. It sorta fell between the wall and the bed and I sorta let it go. I was debating if I wanted to re-read The Hobbit because of the movie release coming up.

I think I finally settled on The Mists of Avalon again. That book makes me feel an endless aching sadness every time I read it. Especially near to the end after mordred and gwydion kill each other and morgaine goes back to the isle of apples. She goes into depth about how the lands are changing and shifting. It always makes me cry.

I asked Siri why she can't read iBooks to me. She said she doesn't know but that it's a good question. I'm pretty sure it's because she not programmed to yet.

 

Seems like my mom's worn-torn heart has hardened a bit due to the loss. And two words echoed so dearly from her with great indignation, that it's granting her a different kind of closure.

Want me to share those two words with the lot of you? You know you want to hear them too. :smt025

The people I have to work with to plan an event are EXTREMELY frustrating.

Planning a campus wide skating party thing, with a performer and DJ, selling food and all that stuff... games, a Snowball King/Queen pageant... yet everyone is useless.

Every time there's a contract to deal with, everyone's like, "Nicole! take care of this!" and if I delegate work to others, I end up having to fix their mistakes, or having to do it when they don't.

Super stressed about this event right now. Still have to get the ice rink booked, and a contract developed with them... and still have to iron out the wrinkles in the contract with the performer & DJ. Still have to get a banner ready to display by Friday, get tshirts ordered, tickets ordered, etc... I fly home on Sunday, and then do not return till Jan 20, while the event's on January 26th. It'll all work out, but I really could do without the last minute-ness

(It doesn't help that the 3 women in charge of the campus activities department are all from a sorority that hate my sorority... smh).
