that is some fucked up shit. the employer let this dude get fucked and not providing any help.

A Dallas truck driver is enjoying his first weekend of freedom in seven months after what his employer said was an "honest mistake" landed him in a Mexican prison.

Jabin Bogan was transporting a load of ammunition to a Phoenix gun shop in April when he said he made a wrong turn, causing him to cross the border into Mexico, where strict firearms laws are enforced.

He was released on Friday after his mother paid a fine, ABC News affiliate WFAA reported.

Yeah, I heard about this when it occured when it occured earlier this year.

Dude is a idiot. That border is clearly marked and labeled. And with a truck hauling ammo, it should have had a GPS Navigation system in it. Also those trucks carrying cargo like that are tracked and sometimes escorted.

He knew where he was going and should have stopped and called US Border Patrol and not rely on local idiot police.

They would have contacted the Mexican's and given him a escort to turn that truck around.

I dont know the gun laws in Mexico, but damn near every locale in America that has the most restrictive gun laws have the most gun violence. Seems plausible that Mexico may have backward gun laws.
