This is a rather old article, but there are comments as recent as a few months ago. After you read the article, you really owe it to yourself to read through the comments. All over the map. I found the whole discussion very interesting.

 

Cool article! To each is own. One way or another, I don't knock someone else's preference. It's not my place to judge that kinda' thing.

I remember some book written by Ms.Bakos. Very interesting.

 

If you google Susan Crain Bakos, you will notice almost all of her books are about sex. She has been around for a long time. Just because she did not age gracefully doesn't mean what she wrote isn't true to her or some of her friends.

I thought it was pretty insulting to black men also. She made some very sweeping generalizations. I know men aren't as sensitive in general about being 'objectified' but c'mon. Of course, she didn't have much in the way of praise for white men, either. Someone said 'old and bitter'. Yep, that would pretty much sum it up. If you haven't scrolled on down through the comments, you should. It never ceases to amaze me what kind of attitudes still exist.

:smt089I am so bummed out today. A piece of shit author got one of my books taken off Amazon and Nook claiming I 'violated' her (really a him) copyright. Apparently she/he thinks she/he has a patent on fucking. Now I'm afraid to write anything. So much work and this person just stole it.

 

I'm sorry such people are like that. Hope you copyrighted your material against such impostors. Can't find your signature but,you can e-mail me. I like hard copy books not netbooks since I don't like those things.
