i just wanna hear Wolverine call Gambit 'Gumbo' in a film :smt033 god i need my old 90s cartoons back
Now that Matthew Vaughn is not directing, I have very little hope for the next X-Men movie. Bryan Singer doesn't respect the source material enough, he doesn't get the epic scope of a comic book movie. And that showed in X-men 2 and in Superman.
I love the song to this The new red hood comic reminds me why DC is DC and Marvel is not! I'm not feeling Justice league though. I love ultimate spiderman but miles simply can't compete with batman. Batman vs the owls is crazy! They need to make a movie out of it.
can't stand any of Singer's movies. I already know I am going to hate TMNT. Outer space? Stick to the script(original comics) BAY!
i actually liked first class..liked it more than i thought i would to be honest LMAO fuck they gotta be outer space...remember transformers... remember...its not TMNT either..its just Ninja Turtles he's dropping the whole mutant shit, which is another u know....insult to age old fans
Pacific Rim Mech designs & stills And teaser video...(No. The movie is not going to a found footage flick like Blair Witch or Cloverfield)
Let me guess? Just like with the Thundercats, you're a big fan of the original Battlestar Galactica series and don't like the new stuff.
I always thought the series was cheesy, just like any science fiction program, past and present. And for the record, the new look of the Thundercats, complete with the story and acting just made it worse.
I'll agree that a large majority of the older sci-fi series are on the cheesy side, mainly dumbed down to appeal & attract the non science fiction viewing audience, a lot of the newer stuff does cut down on the cheese factor. Granted there are still shows & movies that still overdue the cheesiness by way of low budget CGI & effects with the Sy-Fy (Sci-Fi) Channel's weekly Saturday night movie offerings the biggest offenders.
Crixus is the face of Deathstroke on CW's Arrow series? http://insidetv.ew.com/2012/11/30/arrow-manu-bennett/
Really now? I could have sworn the ones who foam at the mouth of these shows are the same people who are staunch sci-fi fanatics. Sure, we could blame lack of technology back in the heyday, but there were some creative moments, I'll admit. The newer stuff seems cheesier, just the illusion of it due to better technology make it seem less cheesy.
They are but they aren't foaming at the mouth because they like the cheesiness of any of the shows. They're foaming at the mouth because it's sci-fi. Period. Remember sci-fi & being nerdy/geeky was once looked upon as a bad thing so even cheesy crap sci-fi shows were seen as a miracle for most sci-fi fans. That's kind of why both Star Trek & Star Wars are icon series for sci- fans. Star Trek the original series despite the low budget & cheesy effects scored points with it's forward thinking view of the future. Star Wars delivered with the big budget effects, designs & action that most sci-fi fans always pictured in their heads for a sci-fi story coming to life.
i actually watch the blood and chrome webisodes even though I was like meh. I fell in love with the BSG characters from that last series so much, that I figured anything without them would be bullshit. It's turning out to be alright tho. Still get a kick out of the fright mofos get when they see those Baseships and the sound of the DRADIS in the background.:smt033
They acknowledge and yet ignore the cheesy factor in the sci-fi genre. I agree that science fiction brought about technology only people could dream of, but despite all their influences, the sources were of the cheese factor. And then you have your crazies...
Yeah, I feel you. Any new takes or sequels to the updated BSG will never match up to it. I still like learning about the history and backstory of the updated BSG universe though. Adds a bit more perspective to the whole storyline in the new BSG.
Farewell city of heroes. You lasted 8 years and almost cost me my degree!!!!!! But I loved you any way. I wish I could have played this last day before they shut the servers down. oh well
I finished Madworld for the wii this past summer, and I finally beat Final Fantasy 8 after I first started it back in 99. Anyone have any other recommendations for good simple fun games I could play with good plot, characters, music, and gameplay. I'm thinking about playing god of war 2 and 3 or buying a 360 and some sonic games and street fighter vs. tekken.
