http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jzb6-9k1Yao So actor Sam Jones III spent about a year in prison (November 2011 to October 2012) and did an interview with CBS's The Insider recently which I linked to above explaining what happened. Basically a childhood friend of his was in debt to the mexican mob and needed money from Sam to pay it off. These mobsters turned out to be undercover DEA guys and Sam goes to jail for helping fund some drug plot to sell 10,000 oxycodone pills. whats crazy is the friend became a government informant (aka a SNITCH) and did NO JAIL TIME at all. Meanwhile Sam lost a year of his life, his acting career, reputation, and Karissa (She dumped him). Not fair at all. Check out the interview.
I doubt very much that Karissa Shannon really dumped Sam Jones III. She'll get back with him without a doubt. Take my word for it.
Dude gave a friend 30k to avoid problems with cartel. How is that not noble? He went down for conspiracy not actual drug dealing fam
come on man. 1) he is hanging around people that do stupid shit like that 2) its more than what he is saying dont take his word for it.
It was a childhood friend in trouble fam. You got a good heart bro What do you think is wrong with his story?
child hood friend right? he knew what his friend was doing and his friend dimed him out. i can dig what you are saying BUT he was dealing with the wrong "friend". it can happen to anybody. BUT this dude knew his friend was doing crazy ass shit and didnt cut him off. I had to learn that shit. if you see signs of unstableness get away.
shit u beat me to it i've cut people out of my life that I know for a fact are up to no good if they really gave a shit about you and your 'childhood friendship,' they wouldn't be doing dumb shit like getting mixed up with cartels
And fucking around with cartels is something I would categorize as a bit worse than "dumb shit". More like "a fuck-up of catastrophic proportions".
That's the kind of thinking that gets a lot of Black men locked up by putting themselves in stupid posistions they had no business being in to begin with. That's not noble, that's being a sucker and paying for it. He has a felony conviction on his record for the rest of his life over a friend that didn't even do any jail time.
I guess since I dont have any shady friends if someone close to me told me they were in trouble I'd assume it was extroridnary circumstances
what a sheltered life u live in the burbs that drug shit aint nothing knew in the inner city, so i'm more weary of the company I keep
