The odds on winning are so low that If I won I could promise $10,000 to each person who friended me on this forum but I will try again.

I think you are confusing scam lotteries with REAL LOTTERIES. (ps)those emails are fake!!! :smt081

NY State Govt has the highest profits of any State government (nearly $23 billion) from lottery sales.
All State's charities for the ELDERLY and the poor receive the highest donation funding from lottery sales.
But most people know that lottery profits benefit local charities.

BTW, do make sure you buy toys made in THE USA and not China. Also why not donate to feed a poor child who needs food to grow, or donate to the make-a-wish Foundation for dying kids who cant afford one last wish. :smt049

Cant wait to play!!! So excited to BUY A TICKET. First thing in the morning. Yay!!!! :smt038

So in case you win, lucky persons! -

CAN I REMAIN ANONYMOUS WHEN I HIT THE JACKPOT?

All but five states (DE, KS, MD, ND, OH) have laws that require the lottery to release the name and city of residence to anyone who asks. Other states may offer to assist you in some way, including such things as the creation of trusts. But generally, you will want to hire an attorney to review the laws in your state to see what options you might have. Photos and press conferences are up to you for most, but not all states. Check with your state lottery to see if photos or more are required. Most of the time, it is advisable to get it over with the press so that you don't have one or more reporters following you around to get that "exclusive" interview. Even if the you can keep your identity secret from the press and the public, you will have to be known to the lottery - so they can confirm that you are eligible to play and win.

Don't forget to give WWBM a shout-out for the reminder to play when you accept the check. :smt060
