The short answer to your question is someone who knows how to fight. How else would you throw an effective punch? Do you plan on incapacitating an assailant by throwing slaps? If you do not ball your fist up tightly enough then you have a higher risk of injuring it, mabe thats what happened. Also, you try not to punch your assailant in hard areas like the forehead or top of the head, that could have been his problem. Sounds like you have never been in a fight before, which is a good thing if you are never attacked in the future.

 

Throwing a closed fist punch is okay but never at the face. You'll damage your hand that way i learned that from experience, son.

She set him up because the other day she lost her court fight to take Nahla to France (ie: steal him away from her father). Now she has this convenient "order of protection from him towards her, her fiance and Nahla. Whatever it takes.

It does seem like a set up considering that ruling Nahla could not move to France right before this. Any father who wants their children would probably act the same if fought to this extreme. Perhaps not the smartest move, but when emotions regarding your children, I cant fault him. IT just seem like Halle is extremely manipulation and that would drive anyone bonkers. Like you said, Oliver need to shed the wool over his eyes and respect Aubreys right as a father- and stay the hell out of the situation.

While we don't know the details, Ms. Berry is rumored to be a notorious head case. I'm somewhat a fan of Mr. Martinez's work, but I'll say one thing in Mr. Aubry's favor: he was at least complying with the court at the time of the fight, i.e. he was returning his daughter to Ms. Berry.

 

Martial arts teaches you about open palmed strikes to the face or driving your opponents head into hard surfaces. It's alternatives to damaging your hand in a scrap. And thats the last i have to say about it.

 

Exactly! She knows what she's doing. My brother's ex wife tried to pull some similiar shit on him a few years back so he could lose custody on their son but he didn't take the bait. She seems very manipulative.

 

Ok, I think it is great that you are into martial arts, open palm strikes are effective and so is closed fisted punches, both require a handle on the technique, but since that is all you have to say about it......have a nice day.

 

Closed fisted punches are tricky. Punching someone in the jaw or cheek you're likely to damage your hand that way. Thats why boxers wear gloves or at the least wrap their hands up. Now if you're targeting the nose, somewhere soft I guess you could be okay. the only reason I brought this all up is because Halle's man fucked up his hand trying to punch out her baby's father.

 

I understand that, just wondering why you said what you said thanks for clarifying. Even though I don't completely agree with this post I think more people should explore martial arts. I believe it has a lot to offer, and It is cool that you have interest and put some thought into it. I am about to rep you for that.

I don't care much for Halle Berry and never have but I'll never understand why throughout their relationship troubles and custody issues, no matter what Aubry says or how he behaves, and this guy already sounded like a fucking whackjob with anger issues, it's always Halle Berry's fault. No one aquainted with this guy has anything good to say about him outside of family. The guy has a well documented history of blowing his top, even over little stupid things, but once again somehow this guy assaulting Halle Berry's boyfriend and getting his ass handed to him is no fault of his own. I'm not really speaking specifically about the people here, but pretty much every comments section regarding this topic that I've seen over the past few days.

I mean what she tricked him into attacking Oliver Martinez??? She used some type of Halle Berry mind control technique to flip the rage switch?? And even if that was the case, he's so clueless that he walked right into it? Aubry once again is the victim of crazy Halle??

If Aubrey "assaulted" Oliver Martinez then theoretically he would have marks on his hands??!! Go find the pics of Aubreys hands they are online. We'll wait. Why is Martinez greeting Aubrey at the door? He isn't involved as a parent or in the custody. He just make things worse. He also threatened Aubrey the night before at Nahla's school play. I think he did more than defend himself....I hope they investigate and the charges he deserves are brought. It sounds to me like Berry and Martinez are being two spoiled brats since they lost their request to move to France.
