Soldiers getting blown up is not funny Especially considering you got people that served in Iraq on the forums That's just plain insensitive youngin
Did I post that in the funny ass thread? It wasn't funny. so it didn't go in this thread. Did I laugh at that? Are you trying to pull my strings? You darn well know my comment about that pick was not in humor. Stop trying to pull my strings.
I've always found marionette dolls to be fascinating. And a small amount of creepy. Also, jack-in-the-boxes make me nervous. Strange how we give kids stuff that can damage them for life to play with when they are so young they will never recover.
eh who knows ive been reading this forum on my little ipod i seen a bunch of gifs that LOOKED like real amateur footage of people being killed and was like, why would this shit be posted showing soldiers getting blown up is pretty suspect, but then again i'm guilty for watching the same shit on youtube :smt088
Whoa that is trippy Tam. I seriously thought I was looking at a woman's backside and it took me a few seconds to understand why that was funny. Btw: Your siggy reminds me of something my youngest son was taught in kindergarten. Your mind is your garden Your thoughts are your seeds You can plant flowers Or you can plant weeds Sometimes it's so hard for me to stay positive in my own head so as to keep myself out of the abyss. That's a good reminder. Erm: the post I was replying to seems to be all gone.
I had to repost it...the pic disappeared on me, so I was trying to fix it. lol Yeah, I came across that quote at a good time. All of the craziness going on in my life was getting too much of my focus and energy, and I needed to quit keeping the weeds alive.
I hear you on that... I (we, people in general?) for get we have a choice. I'm reading about different psychology to help me understand and bridge the current gap in my life. While positive thinking is good and I've used it in the past, there was always this part of me that felt like I was trying to scream over the whispers of why it felt wrong to address everything in a positive light. I found that the middle was most helpful. And I've sense let that slip into old habits and ways of being. But taking the "good" and "bad" out of it opens up that space that alleviates the fear of good vs bad. Not to say that fundamental humanness like compassion and altruism don't need to be focused on and enhanced. Because where you put your energy is where you get results. I don't work on that like I used to and I should start again. I had much more inner momentum and clarity. The outside was really just a reflection of the inside. As it is now...
People falling down is always funny especially when they were originally doing some dumb shit. I can't imagine watching a gif. of someone getting killed/murdered. That's deranged to make into a gif.
Bahaha, that one sitting down looks like he's never left his seat. He's still got a kid's face and body that looks like it just grew old while he played his vids. :smt042
LOL Yeah. But tbh, idk how the old man is able to sit indian style. I can't even sit like that anymore without my legs/knees hurting.
In general I think it does apply to all of us (even though it usually feels like we're all alone in what we're going through). Although I think it's important to make the best of whatever situation we find ourselves in, sometimes the positive thinking approach can keep us from facing the negative things that need to be dealt with in order to get through them, and that's usually not a healthy thing IMO. Great point about taking the "good" and "bad" out of it...life isn't typically one or the other anyway, and thinking it is (and the fear of it) can be crippling. It definitely interferes with putting our focus and energy where it needs to be, and keeps us out of balance. I'm in an off-kilter place in my life right now too, and I don't know what to do with myself. Hopefully we can both get back to a place of balance and find a healthy/happy balance in our lives. Hang in there, girl. *hugs* Now, before we get accused of derailing the thread...
Hahahahaha! Ew. But hey...lets derail some more. If in fact you have smelly feet so bad that you inadvertently kill your poor house cat, there are some quick fixes for your shoes. Which if your feet smell that bad most likely your shoes died a horribly cruel death long ago. Firstly, wash your feet with antibacterial soap. Secondly, when your shoes are off and stinking up kingdom come..you can lace them with a liberal dusting of pure baking soda. Then you shove a dryer sheet or 10, depending if its so bad that your neighbors can smell it, into the shoe(s) and just keep it there till you wear them again. That's if they don't give up and die between now and then.
LOL! I need to send those tips to my son's friend; that kid has the worst smelling feet ever. Several years ago we went to a church thing in Houston, and the first night there was his friend's parents' wedding anniversary. I offered to let him stay with us so they could have the night alone to celebrate (we were staying at the same hotel). The next day after the boys had already headed down to breakfast, I was packing up and getting ready for check out, and I was smelling something foul. I honestly thought it had to be something dead, but it turned out to be one the boy's socks that had gotten mixed up with my son's dirty clothes. It was so nasty I threw it and the t-shirt it was tangled up with in the trash. :smt087
