    CB - adorable!!
Another advice on clipping nails: massage their feet regularly. That way you handle the feet w/o actually clipping the nails, and they get used to get their paws handled.
After a while, once they are used to you touching their paws, you can start to sneak in a clip or two and eventually you can clip all for paws. This has worked on every single animal I have owned, some took a bit longer but it always eventually worked.

If they associate touching paws w unpleasant clipping, then they are bound to protest, but if they start associating touching feet w massaging and cuddling (and treats) + easier time to get clipping claws.

Nicole: she was a beauty indeed!
JC and everybody else: gorgeous pets!!!

My baby died some weeks ago. He was very old for a rabbit, almost 8 years old. He was so sweet and nice and fluffy and I didn't say goodbye to him :( RIP Bubble, awesome bunny.

Omg, he is sooo cute!!! <3

Have patience, it may take him a while before you switch his expectation from unpleasant to pleasant.

I have a friend who has a German Shepherd/Chow mix and she had the same problem... Now he comes up to you and put his paw on your lap and when you start massaging it, he sits there w half closed eyes.. its terribly cute.

I rescued an abandoned tom cat (now spayed) 6 months ago and I finally am allowed to massage his paws, he is very suspicious still but he allows me with some trepidation - I think that is fantastic for a cat that has clearly been on his own for quite some time. I can finally clip his claws without having to have a nightmare of a time doing it.

    Give it a try.

Awww if only there were more people out there like you willing to rescue a cat or dog and take them home and give them the love and attention they deserve. You are wonderful FG......

And I will give it a try..

I think he was shocked I shared. People food is not his tummy's friend. Usually I just do pita chips but I was in the mood for greasy old chips last night.

I love how she's got that black silky coat and its contrasted with that soft white silky pillow she's got her paws on.

She was a great cuddler...even if you weren't in the mood and she was...well she won!!! She used to snuggle right into my lower back at night and sleep there all night...I miss her terribly but have wonderful memories and lots of great pics of her...

She had many pillows, but this was her fav...she checked out all pillows and took over the ones she wanted...(she was a tad bit spoiled!)

Thanks Jordan, hard decision but the best one for her...she was adorable!

Oh I love budgies, yours are so pretty. The colors...

There's this bird that come sand sits on a phone wire right by my window..and he's all over light blue, dark blue and spots of white, which I haven't seen before. He's so visually beautiful. I will try to capture him on camera one day :)
