Haha! So Huffington Post "surprisingly" links to a study of only Republican voters in Alabama & Mississippi and found that 21%-29% don't approve of interracial marriage. I guarantee 21%-29% don't approve of it in those states regardless of political affiliation. I love studies that don't bother to call 600 Democrats and ask the same questions.

GL, we already discussed this in depth when I posted it --when the survey came out -- back in March.
You posted in the thread, as well.

This Huff article you decided to dig up today was also written back then.

The survey is no longer available.

*BTW, the reporter has admitted to misquoting the survey. It has now come to light that it wasn't actually GOP voters, just people that the surveyors felt MIGHT vote Republican...they didn't know who they were.

It is not surprising from racist Southerners who are both unreconstructed and conservative.

Please stop with fake equality. You think there are just as many racist in the north as there are in the south? Ive yet to hear of a northern judge would refused to officiate an IR marriage in the north

As long as they don't get in my way from dealing with the white women I love then fuck em. :D

They can hold on to that whiney, crybaby, butthurt black menz beez fuckin white wiminz shit :D, they'll either get over it or live with it till the day they die, their issue to come to grips with one way or the other.

A lot of things a lot of people don't like in this world, it is what it is. I'm gonna live my life regardless. Just my nature, never will stop me. I'm too single minded and stubborn to even care about such bullshit.

As I always say man, one of billions in this world.

Disagree. The south is a breeding ground for exclusion. They literally needed to be beaten in war to free people. Not saying everyone is racist because we know that its not true bit far less tolerant than the north.

I can only imagine that is what is often running through the head of bigots everytime they see or hear a brotha with a white woman as a partner.

I understand its very much part of human nature to feel threatened and insecure but I find the shit more hilarious than anything else.

Its like man its 2012, crying and name-calling about it is not going to change anything in the least bit in a free country.

Frankly if anything, through a history of social policies around race relations, they only served to make black men with white women taboo and a deep curiosity. Talk about backfiring from history.

As if marriage changes anything, heck I wouldn't be surprised if the banning of ir marriages would just provoke more ir relationships for the sake of rebellion.

Not saying that will ever happen though.
