I will add some personal experiences from this weekend. I went down to southern Texas to see my best friend before he leaves for his last assignment. I probably won't see him for at least a year.

It seems when I'm around him I can always make him laugh and I am more outgoing around him. I am outgoing in certain situations, but I am very comfortable around him and we know each other quite well. It seemed as though I could make everyone laugh around me. Even in May when I was going through my break up and he was around, I met some of his friends and I was able to laugh and talk easily. I shine as a good conversationalist, and can be quite funny at times. You tend to forget the things bring to the table when you just break up with someone and you question your self worth.

I ended up having sushi with my friend, then went to this bar. We all got bottle service. I had a good time striking up conversations with women, etc. It felt good getting complimented on how I was dressed, my energy that night, etc. A lot of beautiful women. A few rejections but I laughed about it. I was just enjoying myself.

The next day I was having lunch with my friend and his girlfriend and we were talking. The waitress was asking me some questions about what I wanted. She interjected "You have a REALLY good voice for radio and TV." I laughed about the compliment. Cute girl too. My friend asked me do I get complimented that on a lot, which I do.

I think what I took from this is that being single you reflect on what your best attributes are and remember that you are an attractive, unique individual, and you have things to offer others in the future. I think sometimes breaking up you wonder if someone will find you as attractive as your ex, or are you undesirable since you are single, which couldn't be further from the truth. I just wanted to tell my little story to you guys!

The bold is because I was telling them to step off... :smt018

The underlined is because it is true, you are attractive, unique and have lots to offer a lady... And that voice,,,,,,,, woooooo weeeeee you can whisper sweet nothings into my ear anytime BB....

I guess one good thing about being single is not having to take a woman shopping.

    +1

Don't have to deal with their jealousy, pointless arguments and insecurities.

    You can actually have fun.

No one to distract you from accomplishing your dreams.

    I love being single.

What wack ass relationships have you people been in?
Someone holding you back from accomplishing your dreams? What person would ever want to do that shit to someone they actually care about?

As far as insecurities and jealousy I say date grown ups ladies. Grown ass men don't have the time nor the inclination to police you. I'd rather take a nap or work on making some money than be worried about that shit.

And BB quick trickin fam. A girl who cares about you knows your pockets and isn't trying to drain them

I can do that as a single man. And I'm in Hawaii. The hell I wanna be tied down for? Can't count how many times I've heard people out here tell me they wished they were single. Most of them rushed into some shit, although they still love their spouse. But yeah, I'm way too much about me, making money and having fun.
