good points. When meeting some, I try to see what good things I can get out of it....even if it appears I've "struck out" with the young lady....lol.

I don't agree with Dark King's statement about being "corny", but to each is own...

 

Your ex had the chance to get to know you better and she loved, what she could see.

No matter, how it ends, people that are very fast into you, will leave you with the same speed as they came into your life. But people that take the time to get to know you better, are much more serious, much more interesting, have a lot more facettes that are interesting to discover.

Rejection, of course there are many reason, why someone can reject someone else. Whether it's now the background or just that you don't fit in his/her life, because of this or that. The point is, what am I worth for that special person? If he or she is more in her career, life plans or whatever, one has to go its own way, but be sure,you don't lose anything worthful, believe me.

I think this is more in the scope of rejection from usually cold approaches on women. I probably do a lot of cold approaches tbh.

 

I've been rejected so much that it doesn't bother me, lol. Besides, if you just hang out and get to know people as people, a woman who's interested will usually make her presence and interest known.
