Truly one of the stupidest shows ever, just look at the outcome of those couples after their time on the show ends.

The whole thing is for mere entertainment and fantasy void of the real world.

There are issues of diversity and inclusion which are paramount. I believe that there should be men of color as the Bachelor. You can think what you want about the show -- it doesn't matter.

Apparantly the court sides with the mighty Disney/ABC in this matter. This proves that we cannot let nitwit Mitt win the election. We need to kick the right wing judges to the curb. The prez appoints the federal judges.

The way to get around all this bullshit is for someone to put together a dating show featuring men of color....perhaps on cable TV.

    Fuck'em

Not surprised!!This show has always sucked from day one you have 25-30 white men gawking and cuting each other's throat for the fake ass affection of one woman which 90% of the time the relationship won't work...Then you only have 1-2 brothers on there every so often trying to compete knowing damn well they ain't gonna get chose, then they wanna cry about it however they did have a right to take it to court to show they recognize the racism but the black man lost as usual, deinately not surpried at the courts decision

Maybe someday soon reality tv will die. Then it won't be an issue. Does anyone watch this crap? :smt069

A black man chosing to go on that show is a complete moron. They know they're gonna get fucked over, but still wanna join in on the scripted fun. Gotta laugh at them.

I'd love to go undercover as a BM loving Bachelorette and BAM, pick one of those brothers, just to shock the hell out of ABC LOL. Of course it would best if I were actually in love with him of course. ABC would probably panic and accidentally "oops" cancel the show for "lack of ratings"...

But of course they do their background checks and only pick the preppy little chicks that have probably never so much have been touched by a black man. I think the closest they got to having a black-based reality show where the black men stood an equal chance was when that skanky Latina looking chick always was saying "Don't hate the playa hate the game" - Lord I hated her - and all of the guys (of all colors) were so wanna-be thugged out. Yuck.

Gotta keep the stereotypes going just to keep everyone "in their place". SMH. That media wheel keeps aturnin.

Won't happen. It's the new thing and may very well live out a long time since it's easier for ordinary Joes and Janes to get into the 15 minutes of fame. The formula continues: Find somebody or a group of outrageous misfits, give them a location, act stupid, achieve ratings, make money, renew season if successful.

Hate it...love it...it'll remain like many other genres.
