My first response to this was a great big NOOOOOOOOOOO don't give up on us. But then I thought more about it and I actually don't know how you do it as a Mod around here. The enormous amount of negativity from the same ol' posters is rediculous and yes you are right. We are here for something we all have in comman, the love of white women with black men. We should be rejoicing that so much more....

Fair Tarshi, perhaps Mr Webmaster can give you some time off, a wwbm mod holiday or something so that you can focus on the more important things in life, like your family and the men in suits thread or better still Sins big bulge thread.... :smt112

 

Then don't be a mod. Problem solved. I honestly don't get why the fighting bothers anyone. There are very specific threads these kinds of things take place. Just avoid them and stick to the fluff threads that you enjoy with lots of pics. The negative threads always peter out. People eventually get bored and move on. No one really gets hurt unless they take the opinion of strangers to heart like that.

I think that the taboo subjects should be discussed. But I push boundaries IRL all the time.

You can't control what other members will do. Even with repeated requests. You just can't. But I for one will reign in the salty behavior if you can try to stick around. I know you might go anyway but I will do my own part to keep the peace you would like to have.

So basically the solution to everything is fot everyone to play nice? Or should we agree on everything? I said Tarsh should quit being a mod if whats stressing her out is policing everyone because no amou t of "we are the world" is going to stop people from being assholes to each other. And threads do eventually die out with or without moderating. Eventually people get bored and move on. My advice stands if a thread offends you then dont go in it and if you find a member unbareable use the damn ignore button like the grown ups you whining children claim to be

 

If you must take sometime off, please do, but come back.

I learn't long ago that the words, and how you choose to use them can build people up, or tear people down. Many people have stuff going on in real life and don't want online spats to make it more complicated. There is power in words, and It should be a matter of discretion how you use them.

Tarshi, since I have been here, I have always wondered about your sunny side. How you manage to make everybody happy without being selfish. You are a thorough-bred woman, I know few compare.

I know it is not easy to deal with the acrimony, day in day out, yet I suspect it comes naturally to you to be generous, and many of us have benefited from your generousity of spirit around here.

 

Im going to agree with everything you said but your first sentence. Lol. Things can get over whelming on the boards. I've experienced that first hand. Then I came to realize that the board "kind of" has a need for that. The yin yang type theory. We just need a stronger respect factor. But oh well. I hope she doesnt leave. And to your point about fighting keeping others away. How so? Most of that shit is limited to very specific threads. Honestly how many threads do you people want where its all about IR celebs porn and music? If people decide to argue with each other why not? As long as it doesnt derail threads.

Wouldn't you agree with that statement? I don't think it's being childish in the least.
I'm not saying that everyone who takes offense to any little thing that has been said or even could be said needs to be coddled.
I'm just saying the priority to see her here is MORE important that either SA or iggy combined. (those are just the first two examples i pulled off the top of my head. I know the problem is more complex than that.)
