Halloween costumes and dressing up

Anybody dressing up this year? Looking for costume inspiration.

Please share and any pics you have of past years costumes, let's see too.

I was looking around online for ideas last night and I think I am going to be a female vampire. I need to find along sleeved, long black dress though.

 

I don't wear costumes but I like to see what people dress up as.

A friend and I are throwing a zombie party, she has a wedding dress and I have a bridesmaids dress to wear. Looking forward to it, we plan on going all out

 

I'm totally dressing up. I'm dressing up as Desdemona. Hey, she's pretty, and I think I can pull off the look if I use the right accessories.

 

I'm leaning towards wearing a suit and tie and being the black christian grey.

 

I am going to a BIG Halloween party here: http://www.vincentsnightclub.com/. They are known in Boston for there Halloween parties. Last year we hosted a party that was fun, but the costumes here are off the chain. Here is one from 201o, I was a slutty Robin Hood and quite wasted LOL. This year I am thinking Elvira Mistress of Darkness

 

Wow Stiletoes everyone looks great, I wonder if the Avatar lady found her outfit plus makeup uncomfortable at all.

I recently went to a costume party, I went in a SWAT costume and one of the male friends of mine went as Ryan Gosling in the movie Crazy Stupid Love where he takes his shirt off and the girl says something like he looks photoshoped. It was funny but he does resemble Ryan.... If I attend a halloween party I think I will just cover my costume in blood splatter or something...

 

She spend hours LOL. The guy I co-teach a class with is the dude on the end. Note the bong, he was Michael Phelps. I laughed at that one.

This year so far, 14 of us are going.

These are great. And like CB I noticed the avatar lady. Very cool outfit. You will have to show me your Elvira stuff because mine this year will be similar.

The funniest costume I ever did was with an ex. One of his employees insisted I needed to borrow this fancy Wizard of Oz Dorothy costume to go to this big party. I was a little nervous and didn't want to because she is and pretty big girl compared to me. She said oh you can just tie the tie tighter on the dress. Well, that didn't work out. So he and I decided to switch and he became Dorothy and just wore black slippers and then the rest of her outfit wig, makeup and all. And me scarecrow. It was hilarious. We got to the party and he went to get a beer and hang where all the guys were talking and I went to say hi to the ladies. Later in the evening I went over and stood by him and one of the other guys was like d*mn. "I didn't know who you were all night til she came over and I kept looking at you trying to decide. You are one fine looking woman"........to which my ex was totally embarrassed. He said all these guys kept looking at him but not talking directly to him. I mean he has hairy arms so yes they knew he was a guy. We won best costume prize too.

 

Great story . My friend Sean(the Mad Hatter) was second place. I will be getting my coustume THIS week and will post fro you.

 

If finding a white dress wasn't so complicated, I was thinking of a white dress/wings/halo, yet have devil horns, pitchfork and a tail as well.

But, I'll probably just do the 'opposite'... dress as a devil, but with a halo and wings

My buddy and I are going out as Crockett and Tubbs. I just need to find an Afro wig, because I'm as bald as the day I was born.
