It absolutley is.... I would love to adopt any one of these babies, as would my mother and one of my sisters but the birth mother won't allow it.... Instead it is the foster life for all of them and here birth parents still get a huge say in what a foster parent can and can't do,,,, it is rediculous..

That was my thought. You hate to think about the government stepping in and forcing people to do that but maybe in this case.

 

Just this mental picture itself made my temperature rise a lil bit.

I understand the sentiment, but the liberal that I am says no, don't want to go there. If you let some incompetent government fuck make the call on this girl, then the Pandora's box is opened to decide that you and me deserve to be sterilized because we are attracted to a race different than our own, just as an example. That's just the way I feel about it. I do respect your feelings about this issue.

 

C'mon, in this case i think it is a fair call. In circumstances like this i agree it needs to be done. It's just more poor helpless kids getting dumped into the system. Quite frankly i don't give a shit about her rights, what about the kids' rights?

 

Like I said, I get it about the kids. It ain't a good situation, to say the least. But I believe you have to look at the bigger picture. When you start talking about involuntarily sterilizing women, for whatever reason, it's not that far to making that call on other people who don't fit someone's criteria of what this society is supposed to look like. I support the current president, but I don't trust this government to make the right decisions on shit.
