What freaking antebellum Southern hole did this freak crawl out of.

Gotta love the title of his book, "Confessions of a Frustrated Conservative"

Yeah he is a right ole, cheerio chap with no axe to grind.

You know just when I think this shit can't get any weirder, along comes a "Good Ole White Boy" to tell us "der downtrodden, lowly Negroes" about how slavery was such a benefit to blacks and their ancestors, what's the big deal, we should feel so lucky to not be scratching our asses in Africa.

Rewarded with Citizenship in the greatest nation ever established he says, never mind being sold like a piece of cattle at an auction block, toil for the benefit of others who saw you as less than human, all those lynchings, Jim Crow laws, ass whoopings, racial discrimination that permeated "every single level" of American society.

These folks must really have a low opinion of black folks in this nation, when he has the nerve to assert will blacks ever become inclusive and contributing members of this society.

Shit better go get my malt liquor, Mad Dog 20/20, pack of Newports and stand by the corner store, while waiting for my welfare and food stamps to come in, before my next trip to the State Penitentiary.

W.T.F. where do they breed these folks.

Good thing I'm someone who has a very high tolerance for utter stupidity in this nation. Because if you didn't when you read such feral tripe out of the mouth of a bigoted, uncouth, vermin you would be left pondering if these folks do indeed exist. Yes they do.

And of course he prattles on about his Christian values, color me surprised.

    I read that at thedailydolt.com. And I thought what a Dolt. :p

There is a petition on change.org to sign to get him to resign if anyone wants to do it.

I love how he speaks on the institution of slavery and its benefit to blacks.

He must have a mighty lofty view of himself to think he is in any position to offer an opinion on blacks and slavery and its effects.

I mean what do dumb ass black folks know, when Ole Whitey McWhite from Arkansas can tell us about the wonderful things we fail to comprehend about slavery.

Maybe they should take his ass and make him someones slave then ask him how he liked it. I bet he wouldn't. You can't come back against senility and ignorance like his. He just doesn't get it. He needs to be voted out. I'm sure he will be.

Lol at where they are bred.

In labs down south of course.

    I'm joking.
Seriously though its a bit..shocking...and frustrating to hear the things that come out of the extreme rights mouth.

The either have a filter and don't use it (that whole think before you speak thing) or the genetic lines are so polluted that its been done away with.

Maybe someone should put his ass on a plantation and see how thankful generations from now his family will be.

He can volunteer as the experimental guinea pig, since he has such a theory

I truly believe that some of these individuals fail to see blacks as individuals worthy of respect.

They look at a black person and see a negative caricature of American history.

What makes this man think that it is acceptable to assert that blacks were the better for slavery and when will they contribute to society.

Statements like his reeks of condescension, inflated egos of self importance based on race and an utter level of disrespect for blacks.

He seems to assume he is in any position to level sweeping assertions about the black experience in America, as though his motives are altruistic.

When in fact he possesses the dogma of a mouthy, Southern bigot stuck in his own little patch of history that has long since passed him by from the looks of him.

I question the integrity of our conservative friends here, especially the most uninformed and uneducated of the bunch. Granted, the GOP platform doesn't officially state such things, but given their record on legislating laws which are anti-science, anti-intellectual, and pro-reactionary, you can't help but wonder that...by keeping silent, they are indirectly agreeing with this person?

I wonder though...if I made a thread about it, I wonder if the members here would have the fortitude to answer honestly.

I wish I could say I was surprised by this, but I live in a state where the Governor once damn-near asked the President for a copy of his birth certificate. Oh South, I wish I could quit you!

Yes it is. He didn't ask for it specifically but he did dabble in birtherism for a while before he became governor. He wasn't as vocal about it as Donald Trump but it still really bothers me that the man pals around with unhinged, delusional conspiracy theorists.

People like that make it absolutely impossible for me to even consider voting Republican, since we don't do moderate 'round these parts.

It could be worse...he could very well be supporting the Sovereign Citizen's movement. Then, there would a lot of calamity.
