Weekend Plans

nice....too cold here to do anything on the beach but walk.

 

as i've said in another thread somewhere. it's the afl grand final today, so i'll go to a friends for a bbq and bubbles and avoid watching the game...

tomorrow will be a bike ride down the beach. there's a marine sanctuary near me, so i'll take the kids there to explore the rocks for fish, starfish, crabs and the like, then have an ice-cream and bike back home. i love lazy sundays like that

LOL, uh ya...but not just team colors...me thinky all that beer-induced spew after the Game.

 

I'm going stay home & watch the sporting events since I'm still recovering, but sunday I plan to get pizza

Football is the best, isn't it? Going to USF and Florida State tonight.....should be a good one!

 

Yes it is. USF is a lot better than people realize. On the other hand Florida State may be serious this season, since they've looked pretty good so far. As for me, I waiting on Georgia to drag Tennessee up and down the field. I get absolutely nothing done on Saturdays in the fall lol.

 

Going to the Museum today and have fun around the Inner Harbor too. On Sunday, I might go swimming too at my favorite rec. center, but I'm playing it by ear right now.

 

So USF got spanked tonight.....but the night was beautiful, fun friends, great way to spend a Saturday night of football.....

 

Just got in from seeing my kids and friends in western MA and Northern CT. IN the AM, cleaning,then church, correcting and putting on a big pot of chili. My neighbor is coming over at 4 to watch the Saints game. Real beat, spend several hours helping a friend take down his fence, yes I do manual labor sometimes. I need to stay busy and keep my mind, and spirit occupied.

 

Today, working for most of the day, making up for being out sick. I also have tons of school work due. I agreed to babysit for my friend tonight, I love his little man so that will be fun. Then, I am leaving crazy early to Chattanooga. I am closer to Nashville but I always feel like I really got away if the time zone changes. Going to make myself go out by myself and try to meet some new people. Sunday late, I will head home and get ready for Monday morning.

 

Today, I got horse riding (I ride twice a week now so I can stay energized and practice my jumping and drassage), and my older brother is coming back home tonight on the 5 pm ferry for Canadian Thanksgiving (Thanksgiving in Canada is October 8th) before heading back to Vancouver (on Tuesday). I can expect my brother and I catching up on some stuff hahaha! Hopefully it goes well. :smt101

Aww, I'm babysitting over the weekend too. My friend just had a baby Tuesday... figured she might want a break from having to run around after the other two. I guess it's not really "babysitting" if I've asked to kidnap the kids for a day at the zoo, right?

School work... what are you studying?

 

I have so much fun when I babysit, tonight we are making a fort and watching Charlie Brown Halloween.I also think we are making pretzel spiders. I love an excuse to play and be a kid again. It is so sweet for you to think about your friend, that just shows how thoughtful you are, a newborn is a blessing and a lot of work.

I am working toward my MA in Professional Counseling, I work at a community center and love it. I originally got my bachelor in 2010 and double majored in elementary education and psychology. The teaching thing did not pan out for me, but I think I found my true calling, I love to help people and to see them get better and feel better about themselves. It also keeps me from having pity parties!
