Just finished a Stoli and tonic with a twist of lemon

Green smoothie, yum! What do you put in them?

 

1 cup water
A handful of ice cubes
2 cups spinach
5-6 strawberries, stems removed
1-2 stalks of celery, chopped
lemon

I use this one but no lemon cause I have none. And I added a green apple. Put it all in the blender.

 

Sounds good Nic. I need to get some new teas so I will look for that one.

 

I need to get more too, do you have any favorites?

 

Last winter I bought a sampler from Stash tea........there wasn't one flavor I didn't like. They have a ginger peach green tea and this reminded me I liked ginger flavor tea
Also I like to drink Kusmi Detox Green Tea for healthy reason.

The Kusmi is very good tasting to me but stronger than other green teas I have. It has mate green and lemongrass. Whenever I drink it the next day my skin glows.

I was browsing Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf today. Somebody asked me about a melon oolang tea I had from there a while back. I wish we had a CBTL here so I didn't have to pay shipping. 2 parts gin
1 part fresh lemon juice
1 part cherry liqueur
dash of violet liqueur (optional)
shake over ice and strain into chilled glass

by the way, there are a few essential items everybody should have in their home bar, and I hope you all are covered, because I am going to be putting recipes on here, assuming you have the right tools.

you need to have:

pint (16 0z) mixing glass
shaking tin
Hawthorn strainer
bar spoon
muddler (may be wood or plastic)
sharp paring knife to cut garnishes
