Awesome!!! Hope he enjoys today's game. As a younger adult, I listen to stories like this and it really makes me appreciate the value of life. My grand dad also has prostate cancer (he's 76).

YW. Too bad the Colts lost for his last game.

    Appreciate indeed.

I'm very sorry to hear about your grand-father...a 73 yr male friend had it, also but thankfully was cured due to early diagnosis. I pray your Grand-dad can beat it.

Lose by one point one week, win by one the next. ;)

Torrey was amazing considering his brother's sudden death.:( I couldn't do it. But his 2 TD's helped get the W, no doubt with his brother smiling down on him.

    ~~
My Eagles played miserably...ugh, all I can do is commiserate today and prep for the Giants at home this week (divisional rivals). Going to be insane, I already know it, lol.

After 3 games, you're still not feelin' Michael Vick?

Things could be alot worse. Atleast you guys are 2-1...

The Packers are actually discussing protests by taking a knee for every play because of the play calling last night?

    Crybabies.

What's done is done. They allowed 8 sacks to Aaron Rodgers in the first half, it's not like they were playing up to snuff anyway.

:smt107 You can't be serious. And if that were the Bears??

It was such a ridiculous final call.
The ref closest to Jennings signaled correctly. The other ref (a bank exec who has refereed high school and jnr college games) actually looked to the other and followed his lead when he saw him raise his arms, except the other ref raised his to signal no TD. (they also missed the blatant P/I by Tate.)

*On a related note, USA Today reported as much as ONE BILLION DOLLARS in Vegas bets switched from one hand to the other with that crazy call. Packers SB odds also dropped significantly with the decision. Good lawd.

    ^^yeah. Agreed, Bliss.

Like you said, Tate pushed off to get open. Shouldn't have been considered a touchdown.......AT ALL.

    Yup.
Well, we have a huge rival Div, game this week the the despised Giants (think Ravens/Steelers) and I'd hate to see drama unfold at my team's stadium. I will be there, so we will see............The refs better come correct.....

Try two seasons & 3 games.

But to be fair, he gets little protection. I complained about that with McNabb too. So I can't totally blame Vick.

    I am being semi-serious.

As a fan of a team who the refs (that's the normal refs) seem to hate and make bad calls on all the time, I don't feel sorry for the Packers. I can't even count the number of times this sentence has been uttered in my house: the refs HATE the Bears.

    But you move on.

The fact is, the Packers played horribly Monday night. And they were the recipients of bad calls on the Seahawks that allowed them to score. The Packers could have won the game had they been able to make a damn first down in the last 2 minutes of the game, which should be easy as anything for the likes of Aaron Rodgers and they didn't.

I will give you the missed pass interference call on Tate in the end zone, that was blatant, but regular refs miss those types of calls all the time, too.

As for the end pass, I can't say for sure that Tate didn't also have the ball. We can be armchair refs all we want, but we have no experience calling games, so I will leave that up to the professionals.

Professionals is pushing it. The Female Lingerie League fired 2 for umpiring incompetence. One was working this game.

But it's all over, because the regular Ref's Union have reached an agreement. So it's back to business! LET'S PLAY BALL! :smt038
