Thanks to everyone for all of the reps on the Jessica Simpson's Weight thread and the thread about female oppression around the world.

I won't say your names, cause I don't want to make you targets - I know how people are around here -but I appreciate the amazing show of support. Clearly, there are still many decent people around.

Yes, I also asked you many questions and addressed your wage gap comments. I am not sure why you refused to answer them. I suppose it's because it doesn't help your skewed agenda. But, thanks for the negative rep, it speaks volumes about you. :)

It wasn't a response to what I said, and I see no reason to further derail GQs thread about it. It is not the oppression olympics, as I said. Trying to compare WW experience to BW or BMs is equally as stupid, and I won't respond to that kind of patronizing bullshit. So, that attempt speaks volumes about YOU, not me, dearheart. :)

Really? Because you entered two threads and utilized them to push your "Women suffer in America" agenda. You then elaborated a wage gap between men and women, and decided to complain about it to BM when statistically WM make more than BM. So, yes, it does speak volumes about you. You turned a "this star has extra body weight due to pregnancy thread" to a "Men have unrealistic expectations of women" thread. I am personally enjoying your "Victim Parade". I also noticed your sweeping generalizations of men in previous comments that really elaborates your obvious love affair with misandry.

You did compare plights "Men vs. Women". Yet, when you are called out on it you play the, "to compare WW experience to BW or BMs is equally as stupid" card. I showed you the wage gap because statistically white women make more than black men and to complain about the wage gap between men and women is not complete without discussing the entire wage gap ( I do understand that it doesn't fit your agenda). The truth is BM and BM have a smaller wage gap, and WM make more than BM statistically. So, ultimately, when you complain about "Men" make sure you specify who your complaint is for. Because it certainly isn't us (BM). Feel free to negatively rep me for this. Because I know you are incapable of hitting the ignore button if I am "so obnoxious".

Side note... I am calling it a night, so I will address any replies tomorrow.

At least not in the US. They live like Queens here and refuse to see it because apparently us men have meetings where we try to figure out how to make their lives difficult lol.

    And seriously "making people targets"?
Who the hell gets targeted on here? Call in big daddy and whoever it is just disappears so I don't see how that shit even applies.

Now that is a general statement. You simply can't take one statement on an internet forum made by one american WW and think that represents the rest of us.

Many american women do NOT live like queens. But it isn't a question of american women versus women from other countries. It's a question of human behavior.

Bottom line is people will fear what they can't understand. And then make no attempts to understand more and take that fear to a level of understanding.

There is no reason that people couldn't live in equality. Except that we choose not to. On varying fronts.

But to say that women live like queens in the united states is just as bad as if I said all men are assholes.
They are not all assholes. Some are assholes ALL the time. Some are only some of the time. And some are sweet and caring.
But it's nature not location that makes the difference.

I so agree with the bolded. You meet people that say I grew up in a small town and I never met anyone who wasn't white..........yet they are fearful of anyone black. Why? What taught them to be afraid if it is something unknown shouldn't they be curious not afraid.

Being white doesn't mean a carefree and easy life in this country. That is ridiculous. Explain these pics if white women all have it like "queens".

It's always easy to believe your burdens or problems are worse than anyone else. Everyone else has it easy. They don't have to try everything is handed to them........ :smt069

Don't take it so literal, my point is the way some women on here talk about the oppression of women in the US you'd swear they were in the middle east. We have a lot of laws that protect the rights of women on so many different levels and outside of white children (in particular girls) white women are the most coveted and protected group of people in this country. The way we shut down and flash pictures on the news is done for no one else. So when I hear this bs oppression theory it gets annoying. Most men (the vast majority I'd say) have absolutely no interest in taking advantage or trying to oppress women. Its ridiculous at this point.

lol you gotta love Jordan's usual propaganda campaign lol.

Bad shit can happen to anyone despite race or gender but if we look at things like access to healthcare, employment statistics, conviction stats based on race and gender white women fair better in this country than most groups. Not saying they all have it easy but when some jack ass tries to paint a picture of how much women as a whole in this country suffer its complete and utter bullshit especially coming from some of the women on here (not blaming "whitey" but it is what it is)
It's no different if I said that Americans as a whole are uninformed and lazy. Yeah I'm sure we can list individuals who aren't but against the millions of Kardashian watching, Iphone buying, McDonald's eating masses its a tear drop in the ocean.

Well, I do agree that women endure abuse. But, so do men. Men are less likely to say anything about it though. I always found it unfortunate that there are organizations and halfway homes for battered women but not for battered men. Oh well, I guess that's the world. As far as men and women getting beat I have seen it all over the world (yes even in Islamic countries). I wont pretend that WW don't have things difficult in the U.S. Because most people who aren't a white or asian male have it pretty bad here (at various times to various degrees). However, I would be lying if I said the amount of suffering was equal between WW and minorities.

    that about sums it up

there's still that 'us versus them' mentality based on color in this country
