    my thoughts exactly

brutal hits, knockouts, flying bodies and injuries are part of what people pay to see

in an effort to please the uneducated masses and protect their interests, the NFL is looking for someone's head to roll to save face. Long after Payton is done and gone, coaches will still be encouraging linebackers to hit like a fucking truck.

    Ray Lewis, anyone??

    :p

    UPDATE:

WOW, looks like Goodell's iron-fist isn't iron-clad after all

    ------------

Bounty suspensions overturned for players involved

    September 7, 2012

All four players associated with the New Orleans Saints bounty scandal have had their suspensions overturned by a three-man arbitration panel, NFL Players Association spokesman George Atallah said.

Jonathan Vilma, Will Smith, Scott Fujita and Anthony Hargrove should all be eligible to start the season, though NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell can go back and suspend the players if he proves there was an intent to injure, according to NFL.com....

LOL, it's NEVER obvious. Do you know how many stinking Gnats and Cowgirl fans we have?

In fact, on Sunday I was chatting to a Baltimore man WITH a Raven's jersey on who finally whispered he is really a Cowboys fan. Soooo, I though maayybe you are one too! :p

*And I co-sign on being a fan of the SPORT and players who shine, I have always been. It's why I can give Eli his props, for eg.

Haha, I know right. Stinking cowboy fans, they always hide.

But this man was nice, in party of 12 really LOUD men all up from the turnpike, lmao :smt036 (his co-horts were Ravens fans, for sure.)

Funny too, there was this musclehead WM who was a die-hard Eagles fan and when Celek jumped over your Ravens man, turned to these men and yelled "WHO SAID WHITE MEN CAN'T JUMP!! :p

He got fist bumps from all of them, it was funny as heck to see. Arrgh I love football fans!
