Since there is no clear sub-forum for this topic, I will post it here.

My girl lives about 30 minutes from Chicago and I was hanging out with her the whole weekend, I don't live in Illinois. We went to Chicago and sorrounding suburbs and I saw quite a number of interracial couples. I also did not notice any kind of Stares.

My questions is for Chicago-ans or Illinois natives to confirm or refute my observation.

 

Basically my question is whether Chicago and sorrunding suburbs are considered a good place for interracial dating.

 

It depends on where you go, funlove, but for the most part, you should be fine. My ex is a WW and I have dated only WW since our breakup, and it has never been a problem. There are some suburbs in the west and in the south where you might get some resentful stares from BW, but even that has subsides in the 18 years I have been here. Your recent experience is pretty much the norm.
