    55%?
If you need to talk about money management holla at me fam that's my area of
    training
Unless you have a ton of debt there is no way 55% of your income should be going to bills and rent

Unless you're sending your kids to expensive private schools it shouldn't be that much.

In NYC and surrounding suburbs a three bedroom apartment goes for a little over 3k (36k a year) 2,500 for mortgage on a three bedroom house with a finished basement(30k a year)
Groceries car payments and utilities shouldn't exceed how much you pay in rent/mortgage. Gas/transportation is negotioable since I know people have to commute a lot more these days.
I don't your personal circumstances but 55% just seems really high but you like you said I'm not aware of the unexpected expenses that go with raising kids. All I know my parents barely made 100k a year combined and sent me and my brothers to private school and kept us in a good area of Westchester County, but maybe they cut corners I don't know about

Most parents can send kids to college if they stay together and create a savings plan when the kids are young. Its really that simple. The fact of the matter is, bills are only there because we seek out for them. Sure daily necessities -shelter, food, and nicely air conditioned homes are requirements we'd die without, but you really pay for the life you live. If you want to live a decent life ,in a decent neighborhood with decent people, i doubt youd pay as much in rent, food, etc. But thats just me

Im sick of hearing people complain about sky rocketting bills. Heck, stop lying to yourself....youre not balling. Buy that 2002 pontiac and sell your x6 and see how much dough you save:smt003

it shouldn't be that much but when you think about just getting approved for an apartment to rent they want you you bring in three times the amount of the rent... that's 33% right there alone. i can easily see how the 55% of a household income can go to the housing, bills what have you.

I didn't remember the names but remembered Webmaster putting up a thread with the other names he was using. That's where I found them in Internal Affairs section.
