Just another instance. I won't shop there. I prefer Target for this kind of shopping.

Horrid. Hope something is done, pronto.

Gotta keep Walmart going though. I've seen their clientele and you can't have them out in the general populis

oh my gosh that is so SICKENING. I wish that I spoke Spanish so that I could do more advocating for them. The system just takes advantage and it is WRONG. Damn the Tea Party and everyone who is trying to make it difficult for immigrants - they work so hard.

And the people that photograph the people that shop at Walmart, what will happen to them.....

But in all seriousness, that is truly shocking and absolutely must change for the better.... I hope that something is done quickly, unbeleivable what still goes on and businesses just get away with it..... :smt076

Nothing will be done because most of us hope and never do

That is a huge shame, but those workers who have come forth have started to open the doors on what goes on.... Let that be the beginning of change for the better.

You are right. Unfortunately most of us are too busy with the hustle and grind to do anything about it. If some of us had extra time and resources you could be sure shit would be getting done. The shame is that the extra time and resources COMES from the sweating backs of the "least of these" (the poor people in the video). That's what makes ME sick. It's a nasty never ending cycle.

We all just barely make enough. Imagine how THEY are suffering. I hate America sometimes, which is why I have NOT chosen to become a citizen.
One time I applied to Walmart - when I didn't have enough money to feed myself, and was literally starving. I had a college degree. They never called me. OF COURSE.

Well most of them don't speak English so I am sure Walmart feels secure in treating them badly since not many jobs will offer them employment. That being said I can't imagine they aren't all legal. Walmart wouldn't be that cheap. But how do you pay someone for 5 days when they work six. Where is the labor department?

Disgusting. All so they can be 2 cent cheaper on one product or 4 cents on another.

Personally I don't feel the need to shop at WalMart because I live downtown and it is fuckall freaking FAR AWAY from where I live. I live downtown to be closer to PEOPLE and "where it's at". I don't know why. People downtown don't have cars or a lot of stuff. I have to really THINK about it if I want to go get a hammer. There's a hardware store a few blocks away. It's not open 24 hours. I like where I live because I know all of the employees at the RiteAid like they are my personal friends. I couldn't even order any personal products there because they would all know my business lol (they already do). I feel like having a party at my house just for the RiteAid people because they are so awesome. I still wish I knew more Spanish - it would help a lot.

lol I love your optimism my friend. I've seen too much that has left me completely cynical when it comes to shit like this.

People keep buying cheap shit and don't care who gets hurt in the process.
The only way this would change would be if people organized a boycott and stopped fucking with Walmart but unfortunately they won't. Can't pass up them deals
