Going to work on Saturday blows, but I'm looking forward to seeing Elle Varner tonight - hope it's good! I really like her voice... don't have her album... thought I might as well hear her live first. Muslim guy couldn't go with me for a couple of good reasons - he did write me back (I really think he doesn't date white women because of his beliefs, but he did say he'd like to have coffee with me as friends, so that's cool - I respect his friendship more than anything)... It's a majority black club so maybe I'll meet somebody, you never know. I'm just going to have a good time!

Rasta called me last night but I had forgotten my phone at home and waited til it was too late for him to come over when I called him back *evil grin*. He thought I had been out partying lol - it was only 10:15pm.

I don't think making the guy wait an hour and 15 minutes for a 5 minute phone call is a mind game. I don't have to leap at the phone and dial right back out of "principle"... last time I was out at a 'hood' club, i remember seeing this fine-ass white girl roll in (only ww there, so she had some bawls on her). It was a VFW club and there's a USAF base in the area, so some of us were thinking that's where she came from. Either way shorty was fine as fuck. Technology doesn't have to dictate your life. I'm with you. I don't answer every time the phone rings or return every message in the first five minutes. If I am busy I will get back to them asap and if that is an hour later then so be it. I don't sit atop my cell phone waiting for a call.
