Okay I gotta know. If this were 1862 instead of 2012, would you be on the side of the Union or the Confederate?

All partisanship aside, just a question.

I have to agree. It's like how Justin Beiber looks like a girl. They both look like their opposite sex.

Fox is far right...no doubt about it. But to say MSNBC and Current gave good coverage is ridiculous. They are as far left as you can get.

She was probably a Republican in that first picture. You see what turning a Democrat does to you? lol

    P.S.- I still wouldn't take her

I'm not going to lie, I think she's great. Brings arguably the highest level of scholarship to her analysis of any of the prime time commentators, left or right.

I think Rachel Maddow is an educated person like many of the prime time commentators. But I think she is a political hack just like the commentators on Fox News as well. They push an agenda for the station they work for. Like I said, I watch the convention on CSPAN just to get rid of the partisan noise.

You will definitely get spin-free coverage on C-SPAN. I don't believe the level of scholarship is as high on the right as it is on the left. The last serious scholar on the right was William F. Buckley (despite his early racism during the 1950s and 60s). The left has its share of hacks, but I don't consider Rachel Maddow (or Lawrence O'Donnell for that matter) among them. On the right, I can't think of one serious intellect. Seriously.

Actually PBS is probably giving viewers the best all-access coverage to the GOP convention. I remember watching both conventions on there back in 08' and I can say it was much better than Fox News, MSNBC, and CNN combined.

It's one of the cheesiest, WORST movies on the planet. And yet, we all loved it because of that very reason. I insist on watching it, just so you can cry about getting your 2 hours back. :p
