New York City officials say several people have been shot outside the Empire State Building and that the gunman is dead. City police say three or four civilians have been wounded in the Friday morning shooting and that the shooter is dead. A fire department spokesman says it received a call about the shooting just after at 9 a.m. Friday and that emergency units were on the scene within minutes. The spokesman had no information about how many people were wounded or their conditions. The shooting occurred at 34th Street and Fifth Avenue.
Hope everyone shot survives and the shooter is the only one who pays with his life. Wonder what the story is about this whack job. Seems these asswipes think their personal problems in life is reason to gun down innocent people.

Very true. Saw that one over in Norway got 21 years, with 10 mandatory to be served. You mean to tell me this guy could actually be back out on the streets of Norway one day after killing 77 people. These twisted fuckers need vigilante justice it seems.

So much for the theory that arming the public to the teeth will save lives in a situation like this. These guys were trained officers too. When Gabby Giffords was shot, the only guy on the scene with a concealed handgun almost shot the guy who wrestled the gun away from Loughner after he was tackled.
