The most virtuous often fall in unexpected circumstances. My condolences goes out to the family of that courageous young man. A heart of a hero, perhaps.
What a beautiful testiment to this amazing young man. “We in some way hope our son’s life serves as an inspiration,” Xander’s parents, Cris and Misty, said in a statement, according to the news outlet. “He was the angel in the pool who sacrificed himself to save another.” Indeed, an angel in disguise and a real inspiration that God lives in all of us, big and small. I understand what it's like to have your own taken away from this world before their time. Although the loss is so great, stories like these bless me and others.
Wow that actually made me tear up. I gotta' say, it's something when even a four year old knows the value of life. Man that hurts my heart that he didn't make it, probably had more character than most people ten times his age.
