Yeah God. These pompus pricks are trying to revive the Calvanist movement. Looj how they reacted at the mere mention that they didnt get where they got alone. They lost it. How dare antone suggest they got help and should help others.
You DO realize the reason I brought up Hillary to TDK, right? YOU brought up gender saying "A WOMAN IS WORSE (to them)". So I show you Sarah. Per usual, you move the goal posts. Suddenly Sarah is bad, but Hillary (who is still a woman) is perfect. What happened to you saying earlier Hillary was a non-factor, because "a woman is worse to them"? I SHOWED you that was a lie with Sarah. But now Hillary is "ok" because she's a "lawyer who has worked in Politics "for like, ever". Er, being married to a politician doesn't count. Working 2 Senate terms is NOT "for like, ever"?? In that case, Sarah trumps her by 12 more ACTIVE years in the bizness! But yeah, keep trying to pit these women's credentials. Keep whining about "a women is worse", when you are no better by essentially agreeing with them. Gosh I hate having to defend horrid snotty Sarah to prove you wrong. Oh and Ali...people said the same shit like you are saying about Sarah, about a community organizer who was often absent in his congressional votes. Like I said, show all the cards, ok?
I live, work, own a home and a car in the U.S. Yes. I have lived here almost as long as you have lived here, having lived longer than you. Hillary's experience or not, she LOST. So the results don't speak to your allusion. Hillary got raked, too. Her gender, sexuality, abilities - all were raked. Sarah got raked WORSE than Obama, and she was just going to be the damn VP! "Sarah the "mongoloid" baby-making poor-parent raising dumb bitch slut token female" was par for the course. And I was as guilty as anyone playing my part back then. In fact I STILL can't stand Sarah.
It's horrible when you have to defend the likes of Sarah Palin to make your point. HUGS TO YOU for that!! :smt056 :smt023
Thanks Bookie. You get it (why I had to go there). I'll probably have nightmares from it tho, lol. :smt107 IDK, political hypocrisy just irks me, that's all.
Are you kidding? Palin got "raked" for her actions not because she was a woman. The American people saw through the GOP's ploy to get the womens vote by putting thst idiot on the ballot. Obama has mainly been steam rolled because of race. Youre smart and readonable you must see that
Even my staunchly Republican mother knows that it would be career suicide for any politician to try to repeal Roe v. Wade. That is fearmongering on the Democrats' part. Like I've said before, in the 39 years since Roe v. Wade, 24 of those years the White House has been occupied by a Republican President and Roe v. Wade has NEVER been overturned. I'm not worried about THAT issue when it comes to Republicans and I'm very pro-choice.
Oh word Remember they are the prolife party http://www.nytimes.com/2012/01/09/opinion/republicans-versus-reproductive-rights.html http://www.huffingtonpost.com/mobileweb/2011/06/06/louisiana-abortion-roe-v-wade_n_872149.html
The fact is cultural conservatives in statehouses nationwide are trying to criminalize abortion. In the state of Mississippi, I believe there is only one clinic where a woman can legally have an abortion. (Someone factcheck me on this.:smt119) It's not really fearmongering if there are deliberate efforts to have the Roberts Supreme Court give their ruling on Roe v. Wade in the next 12 months. This isn't your parent's GOP.
Quit being so condescending to everyone sheesh. Bliss flat out proved you to be wrong . Palin is a female last time I checked.
And Collin Powell and Condi are black. Whats your point? Just because they every so often embrace some minority person for the moment doesnt mean their divisive policies have changed. Heres a challenge for you Iggy. What have Republucans done for or attempted to do for the poor and middle class in the last 20 yrs
My point is that its a myth that the Republican party is racist or sexist. They welcome all colors/races and definitely women. There are many powerful and outspoken women in the GOP. You should look them up fam Its getting old and tiresome when left wingers like yourself continue to play the race card and crying racism every chance you get. Get over it. And "divisive" policies? lol to you maybe but thats just your opinion. I could call liberal leaning policies "divisive" as well.
How many female Republican senators/congresswomen have there been in the modern history of the GOP(post1963)?? How many female candidates for elected office have been run by the GOP, nationally and statewide??? The prominence of women in the GOP is a recent phenomenon, like in the last 10 years. THe GOP may not overtly exclude minorities, but I sure as hell don't believe they present a welcoming environment for non-White men and women. Most people when they think 'conservative' think of Glen Beck and Rush Limbaugh. THat's what's wrong with the Republican party. The GOP has a reputation for being a less than tolerant political party for a reason. Look it up.:smt048
Nah, the GOP is just as accepting of all races as the Democratic Party. Stop playing the race card homie. Its gettin old and tiresome. And lmao, most prominent politicians in general are men (regardless of their party affiliation). Last time I checked theres never been a female president from either party.
Huh? What about what has the poor or middle class done for THEMSLEVES???? Whats all this "do this for me" bullshit. I have the mentality of "do it yourself". Do NOT rely on ANYONE (esp the government) Thats the problem with you liberals, you're always looking for a handout. FUckin pathetic.
Awww geez. He's asking what sort of legislative laws has the GOP done to ensure that the poor and middle class won't have to struggle to maintain themselves and can do better? He's not talking about handouts at all. Furthermore, this conservative-libertarian mindset is utterly repulsive. The government exists for a reason otherwise there wouldn't be a need for government. What is its role as a governing body representation an entire nation?
