It's my birthday week! I'm on vacation woohoo!!!

Tomorrow I am taking my easel down to the Ace Hardware and will have them find the pieces I need to put it back together so I can set up my studio! Finally have the clothes/crap cleared out of my place and it's looking so much better...

Now just have to find a tall somebody to hang my retro moon-lamp and my chinese lanterns from a 10-foot ceiling...

No, you can take a vacation from your kids, your life's stresses, etc. You can take a vacation to another place/city/country.

So I am going to start painting again, get the pieces of my freaking easel back together, and from the advice of one of my lovers (who is an asshole btw), start dressing more modestingly, especially at the Worldfest, where I wear a long skirt, a snugfitting yet modest top, high heeled closed shoes, and my hair hanging loose. Also a loose fitting top to cover everything. I wore something fairly modest to the last one and still had men chasing me so we will see what happens this time - it's interesting but not so obvious. I will take my sketchbook and look at it as more of a project.... I am nervous about seeing him, but I will approach it as my own project, because that's how it has to be. Me, and my thing. I am the prize. I will find the one who is worthy of me - in the meantime I will enjoy my journey on this earth - alone or otherwize.

My old boyfriend Nigel may come up to join me - I'm not sure yet. NOt sure if that will be a good thing or bad thing or not. I might rather be alone.

 

Yeah, paniro, I think, I doubt it. Old boyfriend was just trying to keep his hooks in me. I'd rather go down to the Worldfest on my own, frankly.... keep my options open. I've already done him. Love him, but he's not a possibility. He loves me, but he's not a future for me. He is wonderful, a superman, but he makes me want to kill myself.
