Every time I see one of these back and forth political chit chats.

I remind myself politics is a big ass hustle game.

Any of us have some spare change, able to afford a lobby group to push our position, involved in a Corporation that stand to gain big bailouts.

I'm so ambivalent about politics that I take anything said by any candidate of this dual party plutocracy of sanctimonious hypocrites with no sense of meaning.

American politics doesn't even possess decorum any longer, everyone is trying to keep score and gain points, by being mutually distasteful asswipes.

That's ridiculous. Welfare in America is seen as synonymous with African Americans the same as Affirmative Action. From Regean's "Welfare Queens" to present day America. The stereotype of the shiftless lazy Black American living it up off the government dime is decades old. And the lazy Black American stereotype is even older than that.

Hell the only reason welfare passed to begin with was because FDR had to guarantee that the States would be allowed to control their own welfare programs so they could deny welfare to Blacks. Since the 30s, Whites for the most part were perfectly fine with welfare. They saw it as an example of America's generosity by taking care of it's poor, more specifically it's poor single white women and their white children.

It wasn't until the late 60s when Blacks were legally entitled to the same welfare benefits as Whites, that White Americans started to turn on welfare. This has continued non-stop till this day. White Americans as a group have never been attacked for being on welfare. Ever. Anymore than they have been for drugs or domestic terrorist attacks.

 

Yesterday I was sitting around a couple of the guys at work (about 8-9). The topic, "politics", *popped up. I drift back and let the war begin. About half Dem. and half Rep. *It was pathetic. *I just don't understand the big fucking deal. I watched them argue and dispute this shit to the death. My question is, why do people stress this topic so?? Politicians are after two things, money and the power to give themselves the gateway to more money. I doesn't matter who you pick, they will sway to the terms of the follow politicians. I feel this way because the proof is evident. I'm considered "middle class" and that class get the shaft from ever angle. The rich get breaks, the poor get handouts, and the middle get fucked in the ass. Which is the reason why I don't give a fuck about politics. People become cut throat when they feel someone's rights, (speech, actions, ect) are being fucked over. Truth be told, we're all being fucked over on our rights. Congressmen are riding on free gas, in free luxury vehicles, with free health care for life after serving a term, staying in free 5 star hotels, fucking free puss fucking in free personal jets everyday. (Free being your and my taxed dollars). And yet people sit and argue about which party is best. * It's very sad because there is the same outcome from both parties, the people getting fucked. Is so sad how this country is misguided with petty issues to mask a greater one, 16 trillion and climbing. But who cares.*

Just a little part of what went on in my life yesterday. All my personal opinion and not meant to offend anyone.*

 

A good many people, myself included, from what I have noticed pretty much feel the same way you do for the most part. It's the folks that have some kind of agenda to sway others to their side (which ever side it may be) that seem to go out of their way to cram their views down other peoples throats until you submit to them in some form. End of the day with politics it all comes down to which mother fuckers are going to do the least amount of damage fucking you, because everybody, especially now, is going to get fucked in some way. Just my two cents.
