Its why individuals who exist in that bubble will complain incessantly about the rights of women, minorities, gays, etc.

They see those groups gaining something socially as something taken away from them. Its an "us vs them" mentality that feeds that kind of mindset.

If someone is comfortable in themselves they will just live their lives on their own terms.

Those who aren't seem intent on the need to control aspects of those who are "others" in their mind.

If MLK were still alive they would probably try to discredit him and what he help accomplish by saying he was of bad moral character due to his supposed infidelities thus in some twisted way the Civil Rights movement should be seen as immoral.
