I saw this earlier today, its just very sad. Unfortunately, Naomi is in the spotlight 24/7 and the paparazzi caught her at an inopportune moment. Either that, or she finally realized what all of the weaves and whatever else she was doing to her hair, and she stopped, trying to save her hair.

Its just a testament to all of the things we do as women to portray an image of what society considers beautiful. Not everything is worth the price you eventually pay. What matters more is feeling beautiful naturally and being beautiful on the inside.

I am sorry she was put on blast this way...nobody deserves judgment like this.

 

Naomi has had hair weaves for about a quarter century. SHe would have been better off wearing wigs instead of jacking her hairline with those damned weaves.
White, Black or Chinese, a woman is better off keeping her hair as close to natural as possible.

The dangers of messing with your hair have been highlighted for so long

Some people just don't care until their hair starts looking like that

And here's the truth...far too many black women (USA, Canada, Europe the Caribbean, even Africa) resort to fake hair or pressed hair. I turn on the Olympics and there are black chicks on the USA Volleyball team who wear these ridiculous weaves. Why? Wanna look like the other other girls? You can't make claims about black beauty on one end only to do your best to give yourself physical characteristics that are not genetically provided.


And I have no compassion for Naomi because she is a known, infamous asshole. For years I heard talk from some black women that Naomi's hair was natural because she had partial Asian ancestry. Uh-huh. Yeah, right.
