Well aware of the icloud system but I am not cool with that at all. Let me be the one to keep track of what I purchase not a corporation who sells my likes and dislikes to telemarketers. And that's really recent. Android phones give you so much more leeway with a product you actually bought. Apple treats everything like a fricking lease with an option to buy. Monopolies are never a good thing and that's what they're fighting for

The cloud is not all that bad.

And it's not like I actually read the TOU agreement..or haven't in a while.

The last time I did I was bored with nothing to do.

At that time apple was still very on it with privacy and not selling personal data.

    I mean why would they?

Apple turns their entire inventory over every 7 days. To give you a point of reference...dell does that 4 times a year.

Damn dell is doing bad these days. Sad.
Why would they sell your info? The same reason anyone does. For MONEY. Its still a business, they don't care about people.

no, three numbers on different carriers that I swap between three phones(Berry, Android, iPhone) at any given time. i have one number that rings any number of lines i currently have and way too many phones.

i know ill never win over the heart of a mac fanboy, i simply state the facts. i remember before the day Android users flew past iPhone users, back when i started developing apps when google had their first app developer contest where you submit your ideas. i was in heaven when they finally released the code to play around in eclipse.

if the iphone 5 doesn't wow people Apple is going to need tv and computers to keep them going.

I really love the fact that you know Apple products so well. It's a not-so-common trait and even more rare to find (sexy) women doing it.

Yes, today is the day. :smt045

And for the people out there with big expectations. Lower them down a bit because you'll only be kidding yourself. Apple is a conservative brand that evolves at much more steady pace than its competitors. It has been doing so for the past 5 years since the inception of the original iPhone. And yet, their success in the mobile market has been nothing short of exceptional. There's a reason for that. ;)

I have just a few questions:

Do you own any Apple products?

    Are you happy with them?

Would you buy another Apple product?

If the answer is yes to any of those questions, then I say, give the iPhone a try. You'll certainly be pleased with the results. As long as you continue to speculate, or criticize based on its competitors "statistics" you'll continue avoiding the actual ownership of an iPhone. Besides, it's not like it will have you "locked in for life" should you decide to buy one. Its just the standard 2 year contract like any new smartphone purchase.

So with that I say, Jordan, give it a shot. It sounds as if your mind is already made up but read my previous questions for the answer you're seeking.

I'm currently in the process of putting my current phone on eBay so that I can buy a new phone in the next few weeks.

Have been out of contract since Feb. So I haven't rushed to buy anything. I have waited to see what is to offer today.

And I expected you would get one. ;)

I have owned a number of Apple products. Just like everything else some really good and some not so much so. :smt069

    Whatever Jordan.
I meant that Samsung products will increase in price bc now they have to pay a license fee to apple. So samsungs phones will be as much if not more than apple iPhones.

Also apple is going after an injunction for sales in the united states. If granted, Samsung competition here will come to a halt as long as the injunction is in place.

Samsung will file again but seeing how the court already favored apple, the chance of the injunction and fees are not an impossibility.
