See below. Criticizing a college student for smoking pot is like criticizing someone for having a bad hair day. Get it. They will look for whatever. You better be ready they are going to tear you down.

    SMOKING WEED IS ILLEGAL
Its not tearing you down when you do dumb shit like doing illegal drugs. Its a far cry from a victory dance and "messed up" hair after winning a fricking GOLD MEDAL in the Olympics. If you really wanted to make your point show me some criticisms hours after Phelps won a gold. Take your time I'll wait

He won his first gold 2004 and then again 2008. The pot incident was 2009. So he was criticized after he won the gold. What's your point? You make good, people look for faults. There is no timeline on them looking for faults. Quit trying to find reasons to whine.

Not a year after the fact genius literally hours after they did something amazing trying to take away their thunder. Not allowing them to bask in their accomplishments. You my friend just don't get it so we'll just agree to disagree.

The Gabby hair thing went on all week before her gold. Are you sure you followed it? It was mostly black women I will have to go find the board that created the stir and then others picked it up. It started BEFORE she won gold. As for Serena she didn't do the dance til after she won so it would be weird if anyone criticized it before.

Note the criticized incidents and criticism come close together but not necessarily coinciding with the medal winning. They couldn't have criticized Phelps til the pic surfaced.

Who are you clowning when it was BLACKS criticizing Gabby. Most white women wouldn't give two shits about another woman's hair.

Ok JC. If you say so. Note that I did say black women were the ones criticizing Gabby but you have missed that when trying to expose my "whining"
Like I said we can agree to disagree

lol..all of my roommates smoked up. tried to get me to do it, but i didn't only because it's illegal and you really don't know what they're smoking

i wouldn't take a cup of water from a mothafucka, so why would i smoke their shit

    as for gabby, who cares

bunch of black women hating on a sista who hit the fucking lottery

if anyone really got beef, they need to go to a site where black women frequent and call them out on their bullshit

If you look at the inset they have screen shots of some comments made on her hair on 7/27 but it was already a few days it was going at this point.

    Link to whole article:

LOL, I'm the kind of person that can get real deep in conversation about philosophical things.

So whenever one of my friends got high as a kite, a black dude, me and that mofo would talk for ours about Rastafarianism, Ethiopia, Colonialism, Slavery, Brazil, the Viking Age, Japanese imperialsm, Nelson Mandela etc.

Its like the weed made dude talk for hours. He was a pretty smart dude, but loved his weed. :D

Funny thing is bet none of them are in any position to speak. The world knows Gabby Douglas and who are they.

This is the ignorant shit that gets me wondering.

She became the first African American female to win the Olympic all-around competition, gold medal, best of the best and these fools are talking about hair, hair, hair. Are you kidding me.

Just the kind of clowns that are broke as a joke but want the latest, freshest gear, flashiest rims and can't handle their own business.

Crabs in a barrel would be too kind of a comment for such pernicious vultures and their displaced mentality about what the important things in life are.

Instead of pride and support at what the young lady accomplished they sink to the level of banal brutes who don't see the bigger picture. Shameful and skin crawling indeed.

All one can do is shake their head at the gutter ignorance.

I don't get the mentality at all.

Instead of getting behind her and showing her love they have to be negative about a young woman doing the right things in life, trying to better herself.

Sheer ignorance. Now we see why the Koreans are making a killing off of black women's heads.

Chris Rock wasn't exaggerating about his hair story movie.

This situation with Douglas is a clear and sad reminder of the mentality too often around such an issue.

If you want to weave up your head do it, but leave a young woman alone that is taking care of her business and securing her future.

Exactly. Its just sad that anyone would do that shit. Let these women enjoy their greatness they fucking earned it period.

My sentiments as well. She was competing against the best of the best in the world on the biggest stage and came out on top. If she wanted to wear a mofo Afro puff on her head it was her right, considering the two golds she has around her neck now. :)

SMGDMFH. I can bet you most of these women are at the bottom of the barrel in societal terms, aint shit in real life and were probably popping out their 2nd baby at 16. Trifling sistas i tell ya.
