Seven people were killed, including the suspected gunman, in a mass shooting at a Sikh temple in Oak Creek, Wis., south of Milwaukee on Sunday.
According to police, 911 dispatchers received multiple calls from the temple at approximately 10:25 a.m. local time. An officer who responded to the scene was treating a victim when he was "ambushed" by the suspected gunman in the parking lot, Oak Creek Police Chief John Edwards said. The veteran officer was shot multiple times and rushed to Milwaukee's Froedtert Hospital where he underwent surgery, Edwards said.
The suspect was shot and killed by a second officer, police said. The gunman was not identified, and no motive was released.

Another socially disgruntled asswipe that took the lives of innocent people because the world is so unfair for his narrow mindedness.

He was some White Power jackoff, anti-social misfit filled with hatred from the details emerging. SMH.

Typical societal reject that lashes out at innocent folks.

On the news they said the sheriff who was shot 9 times while assisting a victim, urged fellow cops coming to his aid to leave and go and help the victims inside the Temple. Selfless hero!

Thank GOD this murdering scumbag killed himself. Hope he's burning in hell!

When you hear such a story it helps one keep a balance that some faith is left in humanity.

Innocent folks lost their lives because that piece of shit loser felt like lashing out with all his hatred and paranoia at those who don't look like him.

Sikhs don't trouble anyone, they just go about their business.

I tell you racist, intolerant folks really have some synapse misfiring.

You are sooo right! When I read your "Sikhs don't trouble anyone" I think back to Sept 2001 when the Towers were felled, and some racist punk high off his 9/11 rage shot and killed a Sikh at a gas station, because he though he was Muslim. Even if he was, how do you shoot dead an innocent person? Sometimes this world is just too ugly.

Sheer and utter ignorance encrusted with hatred and a twisted mind.

Stomach churning at how warped some people can be.

Pretty much exactly what they are.

"The I don't like this version of America" mentality, so let me grab my guns and go out and kill innocent people living their lives.

It is why people and groups like this have to be watched closely because they are no different than any terrorist lot in taking the lives of innocent people based on some twisted agenda they have embedded in them.

That's right. Terrorists are not the ones in the turbans! They are your local Joe Blow intent on slaying an innocent gathering of turban-wearing Americans/visiting family members and their families while they were peacefully exercising their freedom of religion, or read: going about their daily lives!!! God has a special place in hell for this kind of needless hatred and violence.

This is why I have ZERO TOLERANCE for any kind of racist jokes or anti-Muslim/ethnic jokes coming from the average person on the street (not talking about people such as Russell Peters, who are obviously comedians with a cause). If I see a slur-bomb headed my way from a Caucasian person, I nip that shit in the bud. The same goes for Anti-Muslim or Anti-religious sentiments from any other person, but I am particularly touchy about comments coming from white people. Funny how it is usually white males who encourage such talk. Of course the average American is too stupid to know the difference between a Muslim or a Sikh - they just broadbrush the whole lot - not that you should even HAVE to know the difference to treat everyone with the respect that they deserve!!!

My respekt and condolenses go out to the families. I hope something will be learned from this bad incident. The bigges terrorists is the KKK not turban-wearing muslims.

The funniest thing is remember this is nothing new as far as taking the lives of others centered around such reasons of intolerance and hatred.

Remember lynchings of blacks who didn't know their place in pre-Civil Rights American society was occurring long before we ever heard of overseas terrorists or the term terrorism.

Its all relative to the times.

There have always been and will always be people who harbor intolerant sentiments, some people are just hate filled of others who do not look like them.
