The Occupy Movement accomplished nothing and it was aimed more at the financial institutions that caused the collapse of our economy.

Whether or not that idea changed through the course of the movement, I don't know, but that movement was a joke.

Hurting a business in their pocketbook may do something to change that business, but it does absolutely nothing to change the laws in this country.

LATE EDIT: Because at the end of the day, whether this truly hurts their business or not, it doesn't matter because gays still won't be allowed to get married and THAT'S what the real issue is...

That behavior will accomplish nothing but make the very people who don't agree with that lifestyle look at them and confirm why they don't agree with that lifestyle.

This whole situation has gotten completely out of hand and no change will come of this....

It's just a cautionary tale about the power of the media and how it misdirects the public from the real issue.

    What a douche.

Typical reaction, though. Take it out on CFA who HIRES gays, cause that will change the Marriage Law.

So when it backfires and brings CFA more money, mr tough-guy decides to "get him some free water" and take it out on an employee? Wow, how logical! Now the Law for sure will change because of his stunt. :???: Wonder if she is gay - oh right, he never asked, just like she never asked him if he was. SMH.

Like someone commented..."why the drive through, man...walk inside and say it."
LOL @ comment:"I’m not really sure what he means when he says, (Im a nice guy).. "not a gay in me.”

This country is almost 16 trillion dollars in debt and people don't care. The goverment fucks us every single day and people had rather ridicule a man for free speech and personal beliefs. That's pathetic.

It's called misdirection. Let's get the people all riled up about this Chick-fil-A thing so that we can continue bending them over at every turn.

Where is the outrage at the gas prices? Where is the outrage that there aren't more jobs out there? Where is the outrage at anything??

Oh wait, the people are too busy yelling at minimum wage teenagers who just want a job that's hard to come by in today's economy.

This Chick-fil-A controversy is everything that's wrong with the so-called activism in this country. It's not being directed at the people that it needs to be directed at: like your local, state, and federal governments who are driving this country into the ground.

Yeah, he "took some money away" from the corporation with that stunt. What a moron. He deserved to get fired.

My guess is you don't really understand Christ-like behavior, so you wouldn't recognize it if it were right in front of you. Jesus said that He came to do the will of the Father. In order to understand what that is, you need to study God. His character, his purpose, his desire for mankind. God is, above all, a holy God. He hates what he determines to be sin. And Christ upholds that. So if you are expecting to see tolerance for things that God has called sin, then you won't see true Christ-like behavior.

I have my opinions on atheism/atheists and could "call it as I see it" and it might be considered bashing. But maturity & respect allow me to refrain from voicing them. Try it sometime.

No rage, here. Just irritation. You've used your name on here yourself.

A piece of advice: Try respecting and actually caring about people on here, especially those who have befriended you. You can't expect people to care about you in times of distress when you so blatantly disrespect others' feelings

There's been a study of this supposed God and all I need to do is observe the irrational behaviors of so many men, women, and children who conceived their own personal ideas of what this god is. Ergo...read my signature.

God of the Abrahamic religions is nothing more but a silly king with a mental complex, hellbent on keeping people under a constant route of fear. That's an undying fact and only the highly devoted (misguided individuals) who take this to heart tend to blindly accept anything a ruler would say, even if this supposed lord is wrong.

It's true though, humans know better because of our continued understanding of how the world works. Rather than judging others based on ignorance and call it faith and "my belief", let's look through the world on a general view...for a more perfect world, everyone simply need to put away their prejudices and come together as one.

Someone, individual opinions tend to override factual understandings, especially when it's something that doesn't affect them.

Selfish lot. Selfish world. Ignorant everything.

If religion is removed from the political scene and is kept as it is...a personal ideology based on no evidence, then the conversation would be a bit different.

P.S. I never mentioned my own name. Someone else did once. Get it right. Since then, no one's ever used it ever again. Thus your bitterness shows.

I didn't quote it bc I'm lazy (and sick again) but I think it was bookie said that CFA isn't a person who votes, only the owner is.

I think that all changed when then the sc upheld some kind of businesses are people nonsense.

Yes there are more important things to deal with, but when you look at how elections are bought and sold, none of it will be changed.

Super-pacs are giving the electoral voting power to the ppl in government who believe along the same lines as Cathy. And the big money holders are going to the GOP.

Because many here are not gay, you all think it won't effect you.

Mark my words though. Should theys types of people with these types of "values" become overly powerful in legislature..the civil rights/equal rights "laws" will all be in danger of being rewritten/undone.
