What attracts you to the other Race, then your own?

Although I tend to find black men more physically attractive, I am attracted to some white men (and men of other cultures/colours) too. BUT it was not the colour, or even culture, of my husband that attracted me to him, it was who he is as a person. It's an added bonus that he's sexy as all hell.

 

I like how having a white woman in the car keeps me from getting pulled over when I'm smuggling drugs across state lines. A white girl in the passenger seat and a few kilos of "whitegirl" in the trunk is how I roll.

Ever since I was younger I was always attracted to women of "lighter" skin tones (not just on white women either, I used to daydream about lil kim and tyra banks).

 

WOW! This sounds a lot like myself, except that it is not a thing of respect per se, but the thought of it almost seems incestuous. Just feels right for me to be with a WW, however there are still some black women that can get my attention, like Zoe Saladana, and I know that is a bit contradictory, but how often do you see one like that?

 

True but I notice ww have bubbly personalities more often than any other races.

 

Pretty simple growing up I spent more time around white people and I went to a private school, It's hard to tell a BW that because she will get offended pretty quick, So I tend to avoid bringing it up period.

Plus I connect so easy to ww it's hard to describe and like the post below says they have a great personality. Only one thing on my part I think that hurts me is I'm 27 and I look like I could be 18 and I'm not too sure of places here in CT

 

I'm attracted to men of many races, I don't really use that as a criteria for a man (or woman) but I have always been MORE attracted to black men even since I was a little kid. I love dark skin, dark eyes ... makes me take a second look.

 

I tend to feel the same way here. Growing up in the suburbs, being around mostly whites definitely swayed my preference for women. I am attracted to other races though, but I will say I am much more strongly attracted to white women, on average, than other races.

I really wouldn't say that it's a thing of being attracted to women of other races more than my own. In every race, you have the good, the bad, & the ugly. It's just a matter of finding out which one you have the best vibe with, & just going with it.

I've always, naturally, been more attracted to WW, don't know why. However, I love women, period, of all races. But I cannot deny that singular, special attraction to white females, with a predilection for blue-eyed blondes. I would say that when any of us are more attracted to another race that it's something that's likely natural, without any outside influences at work. There are exceptions, however. I note that there are some comments from people who have, unless I'm misreading them, said that growing up around whites may have influenced their attraction. That's certainly as much a possibility as well as the natural attraction theory.
