Hopefully his lawyer can get this reversed on appeal.

If not, the only other hopeful option is that when he is formally sentenced next month, the judge overrides the jury's sentencing recommendation and gives him probation, or lowers the time and/or releases him on time served. I just can't see any judicious judge agreeing to 4 years for his crimes.

1. Black peopl in general are given far harsher sentences than anyone else for the samr crimes committed
2. Black men are the most wrongly chosen from line ups and eye witness accounts

But youre not interested in that. So why even have the dialogue?

Dude are you serious right now? Why should the number of years someone gets for a crime be determined by their race. No one should be committing crimes but the punishment shouldnt be heavier for some more than others that makes no sense.

As far as line ups and eyewitness testimonies the problem is to a lot non black witnesses black people look so similar that its easy for them to pick the wrong guy. Its very common they evn did a Law and Order episode about it lol
