I like Denzel, but they (Hollywood) are really starting to scrape the bottom of the barrel of movie ideas.
Not familiar with the 80's Series - did it fare well? Could the movie ride on its popularity coat-tale?
It was on CBS from 85 through 89, so I guess it did okay. I vaguely remember seeing a hand full of episodes. Here's the show's intro to give you a small feel for what kind of show it was.
Oh cool. Edward Woodward - great actor, can't go wrong with him. I like the premise/gist I got. So many possible storyline options for the movie. Thank you.
It was a good show. I'm just not sure how well it will distinguish itself from all the other vigilante detective movies. Id like to see Denzel do a good Scifi movie.
It did remind me of a cross between Death Wish meets the Night Stalker. A movie and a Series that I loved.
That was one of my fave shows in the 80's. What took them so long? With blockbusters galore Hollywood is scraping the barrel from old tv shows.
Loved that show when I was coming up. I use to catch the re-runs on the Sci-Fi Channel back when they use to run them back to back during the week. It's too bad that updated version back around 05-06 with Stuart Townsend and Gabrielle Union never caught on.
