Directing my first film...an interracial drama!

I am a New York filmmaker and i am finally making my first film. I wrote and directed it and we are casting actors now. It is loosely based off my life and the main character is a black guy who only dates white women. basically the film opens with him involved with three white women (a co-worker he has a secret crush on, a former girlfriend he hooks up with from time to time, and a woman he has been on a few dates with) and some bad advice from his white best friend screws it all up. he then spends the middle of the film with a wigger chick whose a single mom and their love story is the center of the film but there is a twist ending...

What's the music in the background?

How much did it cost to finance this?
I was doing a documentary a few years ago and the financing for that was a few grand and I didn't have to pay the actors.

to Thump: Thanks. We will premiere it at film festivals around the U.S. next year sometime and I have a contact at Universal Pictures (one of their top writers, he is also Will Smith's cousin) who wants to see it and maybe buy it.


To Dark Knight: the first song is Illegal I song by Velvet Revolver and the second song is "Fatal Attraction" by Conor Maynard (it's a cover of a chris brown song). Conor is a new young british white singer similar to Justin Bieber. I am funding it myself through saving up from my years of directing music videos and commercials.

To Kid Rasta: I know what an uphill battle it will be to get films with black male/white female romances green lit in Hollywood. I am working on many scripts and 95% of them are all white casts but two have interracial and both are action films. I will try my best to change that status quo. but this current film will get made no doubt and filming begins in September.
