Figured now was as good a time to get started since free agency & the draft is over. Even though my guys got the worst QB since Todd Marinovich (Blaine Gabbert), our 1st round pick in Justin Blackmon makes this year a lil bit better. In my 25 years of following the NFL, this kid could be another Michael Irvin. (if only)

Yeah Fletcher Cox is an absolute beast. I thought going into this draft the Eagles were gonna trade up and take the LB out of Boston College Luke Kuechly, but Carolina took him at #9. However Cox is a safe and solid pick nonetheless.

I can't wait to see him play either. I'm not a Redskins fan but I still would like to see the young fella succeed on the pro level.

 

Yeah man. I hope he succeed too, the NFL imo needs a kid like this. And on top of that, I want to see him help the Skins bring that trophy back home. Its been to long.

Even though I'm an avid Eagles fan, I like RG3 and hope he does very well, but the Skins have no idea what to do with a QB unfortunately. They have'nt really had a decent one since Brad Johnson

 

Fletcher Cox might be on the field with the starters getting a lotta playing time sooner rather than later due to DT Mike Patterson's serious medical condition.

I'm rooting for RG3 as well but the Washington Redskins won't be a successful franchise until owner Dan Snyder realizes that you can't buy championships in the NFL.

The only true way to build a winning team is to draft and develop as opposed to signing top-dollar free agents every spring like he's done since he bought the team.

 

Truth...if only some Skins fans will realize this

RIP to Eagles Coach Andy Reid's Son, Garrett

He was found dead this morning at training camp. So tragic.

My heart goes out to Andy and his wife and family. Losing a child has to be the single worst tragedy a human being can experience...May God carry the family during this difficult and sad time. :sad:
