i dont mean to be callous or just shitting on people

it just seemed like the losses could have been reduced through different behavior

that many people wounded/killed by one person just seems 'off'

as if people were literally lining up to be shot

 

I didn't think you were being callous in any way. I was just pointing out why it could have been that no one thought of or tried to stop him. Being in a dark theater is bad enough but some one throwing tear gas into the mix? I can't see too many average joe citizens keeping their cool and trying to take him down.

And how did his mom know before she was contacted by authorities that it was him involved?? I am confused on that point. Was he unstable before and what she didn't report it beforehand.






A San Diego woman identifying herself as James Holmes's mother spoke briefly with ABC News this morning.

She had awoken unaware of the news of the shooting and had not been contacted by authorities. She immediately expressed concern that her son may have been involved.

I have always loved the colorado flag. They changed that a bit as it's just a circle in the middle of the C (to denote the sun, if I remember correctly).

It always made me proud to be a coloradoan.

 

It's really touching...

I heard reports today that the gunman was dressed like Batman -- that he even spray-painted his hair grey? into the bat-wing style...something like that. And with a bulletproof vest and gas mask, his silhouette against the screen...UGH, he was so EVIL. His trickery. He left nothing to chance.
