not luck, the grace of God.

its less about marketable skill and more marketable personality, im sure you've heard it but mo money mo problems. I went to the store tonight and saw a new watch ive been stalking for a few weeks now but my baby sister barely got power back today with the dilemmas on the east coast and needs groceries... before i go to the east coast next week i may get it but i like knowing the fam can ring me when they need something. the bail calls make me grind my teeth.

Wow.... I can imagine. Cost of a watch vs. cost of a friendship? When that friendship may or may not have been due to that individual's poor decisions? I can relate. Only from the other side unfortunately. Luckily my two rather dysfunctional parents only have 3 daughters, and only 2 of them have caused them a great deal of grief, and one of them was me (accidentally). I have made poor decisions, mostly related to men and relationships, for my entire adult life. My credit is so bad, and my emotional health is so destroyed (to a point), that nobody would give me credit (well they would but I won't go down that path again). I think of all of the "would have" "could haves"... in relation to the path. But frankly I'm glad to be here.

Just praying that I don't have to call anybody (my parents) to help me...trying to sell 10 years of accumulated pretty stylish clothes and shoes off so that I can get this space clear. Get back on my medication the way I am supposed to be. Trying not to depend on ANY man. I do cherish my silence. Like tonight. All is quiet. And it is really nice. I don't have to talk...and I'm making progress...

Just wanted you to know that I feel your pain because if people were hounding me to come help them I would freak out (en masse... but individually I can deal with it because I take it on a case by case). I helped someone the other day out of the blue (won't go into it, but involved quite a bit of sacrifice)...only because I cared about what that person was going through and did not want to be the one that stood idly by. Might have just saved a life that day, I'm not sure...but I didn't want to find out - in 107 degree heat.

I've been spending a LOT of time in my car driving.... my left shoulder/arm is sunburned, and I'm still making a 4 hour trip out on adventures today for my friend. Not looking forward to using my seatbelt, owie :p

On a less hurty-note, I also have a slightly 'fun' burn on my back, can actually see where my bikini top was tied, the bow left a white mark lol. That's what i get for falling asleep on the beach.

I cried when I watched it, too. I'm glad I came across it; it reminds me to be more patient with my parents since they're getting older and going through so many changes. They do drive me a bit crazy, and it's hard to remember sometimes that they aren't doing it on purpose.

For the past week, I've been watching a home video of my 1st Taekwondo tournament, in Aug of 1996 It was my Instructor Taekwondo tournament held in my hometown of Carson, California. I got nervous when I got up to the ring, just when it got time for my match, the judges & refs decides to take a 10 mins break. When the match started I was doing really well throwing all the techniques I learned, & then BAM....took a spin back kick to the groin area. I feel down arkwardly, & the ref was ready to count me out, then the head table told her it was a low blow. I wiped the tears from my eyes, & went on sparring. I hit him with my favorite technique, & that was near the end of the 1st round. The 2nd round my opponent & I were both tired, our kicks wasn't as fast, but I was still throwing them. Round 2 finally ended took a min to found out who won, when it was time, the ref raise my hand in the air.
My opponent coach wasn't so happy, he didn't give me a full handshake, after he shook my hand he went to the head table & started complaining which cause another delay. Since they were speaking Korean, I didn't know what they were talking about. That was my 1st Gold Medal. As I think about it, I'm thinking about competing again. I need to see how my strength & cardio be 1st. It's been 11yrs since I last competed, but I think it'll be fun.

On the same road myself with Oyama Karate. Full Contact in my 30s is way different than when I was 18 but it awakens something in you. Good luck my friend. Osu

yeah you notice that sparring in your home gym with the team, and sparring against strangers in a competition for rankings/money/prize are like completely different animals. you really aren't likely to get hit with a dirty move, or perform a dirty move on your home mat, because you gotta train with the same people day in and day out. then you hear about people throwing their forearms across your nose and trying to crank it in a tournament (which results in broken noses). :smt091

tbh i just like the aikido uniform with the big black baggy pant thing (yeah i know, i should know what it's called:smt030)

when i first started training bjj at the mma center, they had me wearing whatever they had in big-man size...which was basically a tattered kimono top with ripped sleeves (that I had to fold up constantly, to prevent broken fingers on training partners while gripping) and these cool looking black gi pants. I was the only guy wearing swirled up black/white gi, but man the material was made of something awful. I swear everytime when working from someone's guard, i felt like i was taking sandpaper to my knees.

I'm looking at this reality TV show with this cute girl. But the more I watch it, the more I feel like an airhead. What could this mean? Maybe I should post a picture and let you all figure out what this is...

You're safe. Heard that her show got yanked for being too crappy and dull only after a few airings. Like daughter like mother I guess. Redneck pussy can only hold your attention for so long, especially if you're not fucking it.....:p

I think the same as you do. People I count among "my family" are the most important in my life, why should I care about money, if they are in "problems"? It's just money..

More than likely only airing the shows that have been filmed in order to, at the very least, get a small fraction of the ad revenue that they gambled on getting in hopes that this show would be a ratings hit. Plus there are also two lawsuits pending in regards to the show. One involves a heckler who was supposedly shown in the first episode without his permission and the second by way of the reality show that she was originally signed to do with actor Kyle Massey and his brother.
