Wait! Hold up! Really? Oh who am i kidding? Whats new? I actually am surprised it was 75%, i was thinking 85%. Funny thing is the percentage will be higher with unemployed women because they really need the man to be working.

You females are so full of shit sometimes you plain stink. Dollars to donuts had this been a thread about dead beat dads or abusive men this shit would be taken at face value but since it points the finger at women in some way the study is invalid lol.
We all see it in day to day life and once again there must be some validity since its been brought up on mpre than one occassion. Also cosigned by forum members not just lonely 5'6 dudes living in their parents basement like myself lol.

I dont get why saying money matters makes them aweful people. Being dishonest about that shit does thogh. Money allows for you to get to know each other and explore interests together and if you progress its how you survive so why is it wrong to to say an unemployed dude wouldnt do it for you? The phoney fake "I dont care about it" attitude is pure bs. Introduce a doctoror a dude who does well in some type of industry and youll se the women perk up up like a cold day in January. Its one thing to say youll stick it out with somone youre already with but to meet a dude with no job and it be ok is bs. Well unless dude is physically way out of her league

Nothing wrong with saying that, if it's a preference. And it works both ways, introduce a woman who is financially successful and plenty o' men's ears perk right up. lol

Apples and oranges my friend. Women mset a man wkth a good career and they think "awesome he can take care of me and any potential kids" men meet a woman with a good career and thing "awesome she can take care of herself and wont expect me to do it"
In 2012 even with gopd professions and high paying salaries still want a man who matches that. Dont play pretend doc lol

I'm not pretending, I've openly said I won't support another man who has no income because of laziness or other non-valid reasons. I want a man who can take care of himself financially, and can enjoy life with me. On the other hand, if we decide to have munchkins and he wants to be a stay-at-home dad, I'd be THRILLED to support him

And I don't think it's fair for you to assume that you know the minds of most women. You don't know what we are thinking regarding a man and his career. Remember 90% of the country is not NYC lol.

Athena this doesnt apply to all but most. If I were to say Americans are materialistic and vient as a while. Is that everyone? No buts its most of us in one way or another. These are things woven into ghe very fabric of or society just like the marriage doctrine. You personally wouldnt care but decades of popular culture brain washi g doesnt just go away. Theres a reason why shot like the Bachelor and Bachlorette have milluons glued waiting to see what happens next. Its part of the fairytale bs where young want to be swept off theor feet anf left with little to no responsibilities. I think its also very important to point out this study was done about women willing to date unemployed men. People who would be surveyed for this kind of thing line up with same demographic of women who want that fairytale. Women in their late 30s and 40s have figured out by that point that the fantasy is bs. Younger women still see it as a possibility.

I don't know how people sit around the house without work anyway. I was without work for 3 months, during that time I put on weight, maxed 2 characters in world of warcraft and jerked it at record pace.

Ramen noodles and twinkies all the damn time... couldn't wait till I got a job so I could afford some chicken and not have to pick off my roomies leftover shit in the fridge when they went to bed at night.

lol...you really were without the grind then..got enough time to max out mmo toons

we all need a break every now and then, but sitting around collecting a fraction of what you made, or not getting anything at all....grows old real fast

look at it like I do...if you wanna eat good shit and buy cool stuff, you need that paper

just make sure when you get off work, you treat yourself once in awhile with a bucket of KFC

    shit makes anything worth suffering

    you truly are magnificent, woman.

being in the world of children, the amount of men who now stay at home to look after the children has doubled (around me) and the women are now out in the workforce and being the breadwinners.

i'm an old fashioned girl at heart, and i wouldn't be happy with that arrangement, but if it works for you, brilliant

Because you see only what you want to see this is you regarding my post:

It's called critical thinking. Join FG and I, won't you??

It's called not taking things at face value because it doesn't make sense to. That article is inflammatory with no concrete numbers to back it up. None. Nice try though, TDK. :smt023

And before you go spouting off at the mouth again, I'd say that about ANY inflammatory "study" that tells you absolutely nothing substantial.
