This is a Public Service Announcement aimed at Men about hitting Women. It is a good cause, but I can't help but think. In 2012 why is domestic violence still labeled as a crime only against Women? Shouldn't all domestic violence be the focus. We are living in an age were women are soldiers, firefighters, police officers, and professional athletes. But ads like this still make women seem as if they are weak flowers we need to be extra delicate with. I mean this ad leaves out children, male victims of women, woman on woman domestic violence, and male on male domestic violence. I am aware that the numbers say that female victims out number male ones. But if your going to name an ad campaign "1 is 2 many" then you shouldn't leave out the other victims of violence.

If we are going to be equal then let's actually be equal, and not half in the present and half in the past.

And for the record, I have never hit a woman and I never will.

To the OP, I do agree with you to an extent. I see females get away with so much shit, thinking its okay for them to put their hands on others and getting away with it which pisses me off.:smt013

I agree with you. We should be targeting domestic violence of any kind. Or at least be making people aware of (and trying to stop) all types with similar campaigns.

I knew a couple a long time ago that in the beginning did the nicey, nicey, I'm a man and I won't hit you thing. But after they got into their first physical fight, he told me all bets were off. Said she could hit harder than any man he'd ever known. Because of that if they fought neither would hold back.

I'm not at all for domestic violence of any type..but this chick could beef. So his attitude was you gunna hit me like a man I'm gunna hit you right back like a man.

    *shrugs*
Just one more reason I won't do relationships. I won't show my fear if I'm provoked but I'm also not nuts enought to push my luck. I'm not big and I don't hit like a man. If I get up in his face, I KNOW he will beat my ass.
