They're not scary sharks, they're the gentle giants of the shark family! Google 'em. They're amazing :)

    Great idea TC! ;)

I had to think a lot for these things... never actually made a list, although I'd think, "I have to do this before I die" :p.

    - Ski at Whistler
    - Attempt to do the Polar Bear Plunge
    - Hang from the CN tower in Toronto (Not just to go up in the tower, but actually hang right over the edge)
    - Set foot on all 7 continents
    - Learn french
    - Travel to watch the deafalympics
    - Bathe in the Blue Lagoon Geothermal Spa
    - Ride a Gondola in Venice, Italy (and have someone special to ride with :p)
    - Go to NY (and the 'touristy' things it includes, the statue of liberty, ground zero, Times Square, the sex museum, central park, etc).
    - Buy/drink a $1000 bottle of wine (you only live once!)
    - Tour the White House
    - Go to a drive in movie
    - Go scuba diving
    - Go sky diving
    - Go to the airport, and book a ticket for a random place... whatever plane's leaving soonest.
    - Attend the world deaf expo
    - Do something that has an impact on how deaf education is approached in Canada

This used to be longer, I've checked off a few things already :).

You'd probably regret it - they stink and their claws are really sharp. And they've all got chlamydia :smt042

    - Retire and live in Germany .... for a while, not forever
    - Own beach front property in Florida, California, South Carolina, and New York
    - Pilot a helicopter, something small
    - Learn to speak German and Mandarin Chinese
    - Design a "crib death / baby sleep" monitor that functions without baby contact
    - Find a cure for cancer using the body's own available resources
    - Learn C-language well enough to create my own software for my own needs
    - Find a friend who is really good with chemistry since I need that and I suck!!
    - Find a way to convert heat generated from land-fill waste into safe electricity.
    - Visit my good friend in California which I have been meaning to do for years
    - Continue my education as best that I can with my terrible memory
    - Bring all of my ideas to life finally when I have the time

That is all on my mind right now. There is lots more....

I've only Boarded at Blackcomb back in the days when you only needed a driver licence to cross the boarder. It was heaven!

I like this one the most. I managed to create a small app that helps me out. The language of it was in Visual Basic. The next one I'll be focusing on and learning is Java, I think.

No, she wasn't kidding. And they have a 'floating rib cage', meaning they have no sternum and their ribs aren't attached to their spine like other animals, so if you really hugged one, you'd probably kill it. LOL

Just another fun Aussie fact. :D

Really there would be too much to list because one of my phobias is to die while having the feeling I didn't accomplish what I wanted to do in life...I'm the kind of person that wants to see, learn and experience almost anything...But here are a couple of items on my list:

Own a Pitbull shelter and then train them to be 'therapy dogs'. Then do therapy for seniors or autistic people with them. I have a passion for Pitbull dogs, and I think they are so misunderstood in our society...

Get a masters in psychoeducation and work in high schools against bullying and teen depression and anxiety disorders.

Find my lifetime partner, get married and have kids to show them the beauty of the world and teach them good values

Buy a an old house with an all-around screen porch and renovate it to make it 'my' home

Swim with dolphins in the wild

Own a vacation home in the Caribbean (St Lucia or Barbados!) and go there at least 2-3 times a year living the 'local' life, then retire there. (bonus if my husband comes from one of these islands )

Continue Bellydancing all my life, maybe even become a teacher. I think this dance is so empowering to women, especially the ones with low self esteem. It can show them to become more accepting of their bodies as they learn that it can do amazing things and be sensual...

Learn to surf, scuba dive, and windsurfing

    Parasailing

    Take singing lessons

Travel to Greece, French Polynesia, Costa Rica...and go to DisneyWorld and the new Harry Potter theme park ;)

    And lots more lol :D

You know what's even cooler than swimming with dolphins? Swimming with seals. They are awesome. Super playful and inquisitive and much more interactive than dolphins.

They do smell like eucalyptus, but it's mixed with urine and chlamydia stench :vom:

(joking about chlamydia stench, but the smell ain't pretty)

But hey, look, if Oprah did it it MUST be good! ;)

Aww, another thing to add on my list then, thank you :) They are so cute and seem to be gentle too! I swam with big sea turtles in Barbados and it was quite the experience too...I fell in love with them, hence my username :)
