any real father would have done the same thing, im glad to see stories like this when i look at the silver lining. no woman or girl deserves to be molested but im glad to see street justice prevails as I am all for good ol' street justice. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/...d=maing-grid7|main5|dl3|sec1_lnk2&pLid=171378
I read about this the other day. The TV news interviewed the uncle because the Dad was scared to be interviewed. This man would've gone free if I was on his jury, so it's a good thing they decided not to prosecute.
It's really sad a man had to die. With that said.. Said man should not have been raping a five y.o. We can't even begin to guess how many children have been saved from the trauma of having to live through a sexual assault from this twatwaffle. And how many of his (maybe) former victims can breathe easy knowing he can't touch them or anyone else.
Good, it was a reasonable and understandable reaction. If someone is raping your child, you should have the right to react in that manner.
Texas isn't known as the most logical state in the union but this transcends states. This is about a father protecting his little one from hurt. That's what parents are suppose to do. It has less to do with it being a certain state and more to do with human interaction on many different levels. Which occurs in all states for obvious reasons.
I'm saying that because Texas is a pro-death penalty state. I'm a little cynical about this. I don't think they let the guy go out of the goodness of their hearts.
