pieces would have to be aligned (almost) perfectly for me to go through with marriage. ....way too young at the moment, personally at least
I most likely wont ever get married (I may change my mind down the road though but I doubt it) There is just waaaay too many things going againist the man. Alimony, child support, having to be the breadwinner etc etc. Just too much of a gamble. It seems like the man is the one that has everything to lose while the female doesn't. Doesn't seem fair at all.
http://www.tmz.com/2012/03/08/gabri...e-dropped-dismissed-halle-berry/#.T1lfesCrIfU The dependency court case against Gabriel Aubry has been dropped ... sources connected with the matter tell TMZ. As TMZ first reported, Gabriel was in court today as the judge wanted to discuss various conditions for his visitation rights with 3-year-old Nahla. Parents are sent to dependency court when there are concerns over the well-being of their children. Gabriel was hauled into court after the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services expressed concerns about the child's safety in the presence of Gabriel. We're told additional conditions were imposed on Gabriel's visitation, and the matter has now been dropped and sent back to family court, where Halle Berry and Gabriel continue to fight over custody.
When the Kid turns 18 and moves out of the house, Halle will inform the masses that her own child abused her and she is not sure she can ever trust another teenager again.
Damn.:smt107 Having a child with ex-girlfriend Halle Berry turned out to be profitable for Gabriel Aubry. TMZ reports that a family law judge ordered Berry to pay Aubry $20,000 a month in child support. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/...-pay-gabriel-aubry-20000-month_n_1612868.html
Don't understand why anyone is cheering either one of them on. She's crazy as catshit and he sounds like a racist asshole with anger issues.
20,000 in child support? Damn...some people don't make near that in a year and they work a fuck of a lot harder than getting a famous vag knocked up.
Not sure why it's so bad or ridiculous. It's all relative. She's loaded. Doesn't she want the best for her child that she can afford? Besides...
I respect your opinion but I strongly disagree with this sentiment. The problem with this amount is that it's court ordered. Whether or not she gives her child the best that she can afford is up to her (Any good parent would in my opinion). She should not however be forced by a judge to pay more than what is required to provide basic needs for a child (nowhere near 20k a month). It's almost like legislating morality. Yea you should give your kids the world if you're a good parent but I should not be forced to just because I can afford it. What if I'm a scumbag who only wants to make sure my kid has a roof over his/her head, food in the belly, basic clothes, etc.? That's a messed up way to be if you're wealthy but that should be your right. I thought this was america. This get's really tricky because once your income goes down you have to go back to court and get the amount changed because it's all "relative". Just a big mess and a waste of money and time. The situation with Nas/Kelis is a perfect example of this. The average rapper aint a Jay-Z/Diddy/50 cent type that sustains a heavy income in the long term. Nas is in a financial mess and I hopefully he can do well with his new CD next month and get back where he needs to be.
This isnt your child it's Halle Berry's. There will be more security and such involved. Probably an alarm system...good neighborhood etc. I am pretty sure Halle would have a fit if he took her to live in an apartment in a bad part of town where crime was high. The judgement is based on what people make. How is it the women here can understand that no matter if it's against a man or against a woman. The court system is the court system. They don't care who you are or if you are famous. I am curious to see if they will let Halle move out of the US with the child as she wants. Child support amounts are changed all the time. After the initial you just have to pay a fee and file the paperwork with updated financial info to have the amount recalculated. It is not set in stone for life. Fees are low.
Thanks for the reply, I respect yours also. And I do see where you’re coming from, especially the return to court when the income changes, as my ex-b/ dealt with this. His child’s mother(who was often dishonest under oath) dragged him to court all the time, even trying to have put him in jail. He didn’t always have the money. And she never let him see his kid. It was mess. But as for Halle, her net worth is $70 million dollars. She earns an additional $16 million a year. $240,000 a year to her isn't much. She makes 64 times that a year. Excluding her n/w $70 million. Excluding her assets. That’s equivalent to like $1000 a year to the average Joe. $20,000 a month reassures that the father has a reasonable rental home, nice clothes and healthy food for her baby girl, on top of what he provides from his pocket. She’s not worried. She got off easy, I think. http://www.therichest.org/celebnetworth/celeb/actress/halle-berry-net-worth/
smh It doesnt matter if it's my child or not lol What if Halle does not want to pay for a nice home is the suburbs and alarm? She should be forced to because she can afford it? Again I think that she SHOULD pay whatever it takes but being forced to by a judge is crazy in my opinion. The only thing she should be forced to pay is basic needs.
Your kids wouldn't be the child of someone famous.....unless you aren't telling us something. If he didn't protect that kids life and something happened, Halle's crazy ass would use it against him in court. He is probably rethinking his choice to procreate with someone as batshit as her. Have you followed the stuff she has told the court?? Crazy.
Nah I wish I did knock up someone famous maybe I'd change my tune real quick lol (kidding) Yeah I've heard some of the stuff from this battle and ol boy seems like an idiot and I'm not a Halle fan at ALL! lol I'm just trying to be objective as possible. Jordan you seem like a good person and so does Bliss. I also would like to think that I'm a good person as well. As good people I'm sure we'd go above and beyond to give our kids the best life possible. If we were worth 10's of millions I'm sure we'd spend a lot more than 20k a month on our kids but that does not mean that a judge should make us be what we already should be to begin with. Feel me? I mean if we bring kids into this world we should take care of them and the court system is there to make sure "justice" is served in this manner. I just think going beyond basic needs is unfair. And just for arguments sake wouldn't they have to force him to provide receipts and other documentation that shows where the money is spent? Then we have to have a 3rd party verify all that... just seems like a big mess and headache...
